Sarcasm, hard to read

people still think chemtrails are a thing? As in conspiracy theorist types?

Ha just upvoted this to 747

I love this. Imgur is riddled with conspiracy theory believers.

There's a law about this based on the fake moon landing thing. Where the large a conspiracy gets the more impossible it is to be covered up

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sounds about right. The attempts to cover up the Roswell incident went about as well as.. as... I can't think of anything that failed worse.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

If you draw several squares inside of a circle that encompasses a smaller circle then you get the fact 9/11 was faked by lizardman Obama.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And why did he do this you ask? Enough money and cocaine to put us into the great depression. Thanks, Obama.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah yes. The easiest of the conspiracies to scientifically explain. My ex truly believed the gov was poisoning us -__-

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I always read "chemtrails" like the opening of "ducktales" theme song. love chemtrails

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chem-trails! Buh duh duh d-duh duh chem trails!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work at an airport and I make $28 an hour.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What role? Doubt you're a line guy!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work AT an airport, but not FOR an airport. I work for an airline as a ramp agent.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I read this as sarcasm..

9 years ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 4

I seriously hope it is sarcasm but my confidence in humanity gives me doubts

Chemtrails?

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Oh you sweet summer child...

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Supposedly, the gov't is slowly poisoning the people with chemicals from airliners, or engineering the atmosphere with the contrails.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I don't buy it either.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Thank you Shasta McNasty. Your words are so insightful <3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Uh, ItsTonyNow

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well yeah, but the name is Shasta McNasty. It's a joke.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I was making another joke based on their handle or whatever they call it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh ...whoops

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I met my first conspiracy theorist with this conversation. What astonished me more was that she was only 30.

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

only? You mean she wasn't an edgy 14 year old?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

I know many in their 50's, chemtrails, 9/11, antivax, U.F.O. I'm shocked when someone can reach that age and still be a brain dead moron.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why is that astonishing? 30 is right in the wheelhouse for conspiracy theorists. Plenty of piss and vinegar left, really paying attention...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...to the fucking they're getting, not a lot of life experience to tell them that reality is often fucked up without a reason.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have a friend in his mid 30's that believed in Chem trails. He is a full blown conspiracy theorist. He believes Hilary has clones... 1/

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

And that she is on amphetamines to treat seizures as well as believing she is a CIA operative and has been for 30 years. It saddens me.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

That just makes her sound inhumanely badass.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amphetamines to treat seizures hahahahahahaha. Let him know they are more likely to induce seizures

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bro.... that's schizophrenia

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

obviously because airports only hire lizard people, duh, is this your first day with the tinfoil hat or something?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

HEY EVERYONE!! Remember that time I got drunk and thought it would be a good idea to fart at a passing waitress.... but it wasn't a fart

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wish I made 14/hr at the airport I work at

9 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 0

Dito

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Marine aviation - I made like 3.25/hr when I got out

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm also an airport employee, coworkers with years in don't make that. I'm not staying.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Made $7/hour as a FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR for my first airport job. That was in 2007

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're teaching private that might make some sense. Market is probably dominated by people who just love planes.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you tried working at the airport McDonald's? I hear they might get $15/hr

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I make 30/hr at my airport.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What's your job? Doubt you're a ramp rat or someone doing line service!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Security.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In Australia that's pretty Normal. I'm a rampy on 22/he + penalties. Averages out to about 27/hr

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

27 AUD ~ 20/hr USD. Pretty crazy! Private FBO with private jets or airline bag throwing/etc? The most I've found is 15-17/hr for line svcs

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Australia's national carrier *hem-hem*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Made more than that 2 of 3 of the last airport jobs I've had. YMMV

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also there is no illuminati base under DIA

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

YMMV?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your Mileage May Vary! My first airport job was running a small airport part time and it was 11 an hour. 15/hr now at an FBO in DFW area.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure this isn't what you meant, but it sounds like you got 11 an hour to run an entire airport

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually, I was! Part time, only airport employee on the airport 3 days of the week. All FBO and airport duties for 11.06/hr-KSNL if curious

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol I was thinking the same thing

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

How much do you guys normally make?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I make about 10.75 an hour, it's the benefits that people stay for IME

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

bou tree fiddy

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Walked right into that one

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

15/hour in the DFW area. And hiring!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Love field > DFW

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Meacham > DFW

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I make 12.50 an hour at a private fbo with benefits

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Helicopters are where the money is at!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The fbo's that deal with helicopters at my airport pay their line employees $10 an hour with less benefits.....

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I need an American to give me a serious run down on their wages vs cost of living.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It varies mattering on where you live in the US. I live with a roommate, and after we split bills I pay about $800 a month on expenses.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you dont mind me asking, full time work (40hr/wk) minimum wage, would you afford basics of living? rent, food, power, water, internet etc?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where I live min wage is $7.25, so $290 a week before tax. I wouldn't be able to afford to live alone on that. It's doable with a roommate

Wow thats incredible. So just rent, in a shared situation, is half the income. In NZ, minimum wage will give you $513 a week (40hrs)
