The most stupid thing about all this is Kim Davis refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples due to religious reasons. The marriage licenses aren't religious documents however. They are government issued contracts between two people that affects how the government views the rights and responsibilities of the individuals involved. Things like tax brackets, power of attorney, etc are changed with that contract. Her trying to make it religious is just stupid.
