The problem with those is they rely on antihistamine side effects, which the body gains tolerance to fast and doesn't actually provide 1/
A restful sleep, as something about it prevents REM. Also OTC sleep aids are hell on the body if taken regularly.
There’s no antihistamine in it like with NyQuil, it’s just the sleep aid portion
The active ingredient is diphenhydramine, also the active in Benadryl. It is an antihistamine.
