Well done OP.

"We get the congress and then we cut from the healthcare budget... ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS!"

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

The number of resignations and firings so far I wouldn't be surprised if there actually is a panel of buttons with people's names on them.

Are you crying? Are you really?

Kid Rock wants to run for Senator from Michigan. Is Vern (Mini Me) Troyer still in his entourage?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think Vern was accidentally eaten in a drunken last call burrito incident

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Frighteningly accurate

I was going to say something about Trump being the side-kick to Putin. But then I remembered the bumbling villain that was Dr. Evil.

We have just been informed that because of the costs of the wall we can only afford a laser pointer.

So accurate it is NOT hilarious the way idiocracy is hilarious but not really anymore

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

Cuz it is no longer hyberbolic they way it should be. The satire wore off of it

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

It's terrifying that people still like Trump even with all this shit and him demanding total loyalty from everyone. The president should 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

be loyal to the people, not the other way around. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

We have tribalized. The hardcore Trumpians see everything Obama or anyone left of center does as a personal attack, and now vice versa. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

I think there is a non-negligible chance that we are fucked beyond repair, and Trump is the symptom of the rot, not the cause. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I've really tried to understand how anyone can still support him but I just don't get it.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

God what a shitshow administration. The electoral college should be dissolved.

8 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 16

Nay

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 9

in acid.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

I will agree it deserves a revamp.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

No it should not. What happens when it works in your favor?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

It would suck. Winning despite what the popular vote says is never good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It only sucks when a person someone does like wins.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd argue that it worked in no one's favor this time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Okay but if Trump gets the popular vote next time, you'll be praying for the electoral college to elect your chosen candidate.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree it's a shitshow. I disagree that the electoral college should be dissolved. #imreadyforthedownvotes

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 16

You are entitled to your opinion, but the state representatives certainly did not listen to their constituents.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Why stop there? Why not have a system MORE detached from what the people actually want? Why should majority matter in a democracy?

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

The electoral college reinforces apathy among youth, who feel their vote won't matter. Voting Dem in Idaho is useless, so why bother? 1/

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That said, I agree that the electoral college throwing out Trump would feel like a coup, and lead to huge anger among a turbulent group. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yet that is PRECISELY what the Electoral College was supposed to do, the rules allow it, yet it cannot and will not be done.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its not the EC's fault that many, many people voted for Trump. Its their fault for voting for Trump.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

I know I'll get hit, but there's some validity to the idea that Trump would have campaigned different if winning came from just a majority.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Except Trump genuinely believes he won the popular vote.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's one and only relevant purpose in today's society was to protect us from a madman being elected. Doesn't seem to be effective.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

It also serves as a safeguard against negative types of populism, and it prevents groupthink from overwhelming dissenting voices.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Again, did not function that way.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Actually it did, though perhaps not to DNC's desired will. For instance, metropolitan groupthink was definitely disrupted by the EC. (1/3)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol, seem some trumptards was downvoting the gif, it jumped 15 points down when I voted it up.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 13

Legalized by Obama, National Propaganda Radio. Before him it was illegal to use propaganda against our own people.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 59

I can assure you we've been propagandized to for decades, regardless of this law.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For domestic consumption, we've had the Ad Council for decades

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the context of Trump and NPR, you sound so overwhelmingly immersed in propaganda you wouldn't be able to recognize a reality.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

You should listen to NPR. I read National Review and Wall St Journal. If I can read it you can. I have a strong feeling NPR will be easier.

Trump has been promising to sink it so we'll see what the next spiteful trick is

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

The ONE promise he's serious about keeping, and it had to be health care.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's letting it sink, like stabbing a person in the face is letting them die of old age.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

He threatened to cut senators health care if they don't pass the repeal.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Can he actually do that though?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yes. Congress' healthcare was rolled into Obamacare markets in 2010. So he could cut off their subsidies. I.e. Make them pay full ride.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The thing is that Congress' wages are made of TAX DOLLAR$. So, there'd be less of a point to do that.
