Much as I may agree in spirit, the same could be said for Hitler 1.0. Horrid human being, and while it may seem that they deserve to be forgotten, it's VERY important to remember them, and celebrating their death is part of the healing process.

I do not object to remembering him for all he has harmed. But he's also a narcissist and deserves to be mocked, ignored, and forgotten. The damage should be remembered, but he himself should be ignored and/or forgotten, as that's the thing that would hurt him the most.

I only said that *I* will not be publicly celebrating because I believe he deserves to be forgotten. I will be privately cheering but I will not make a big deal of it in public because of my personal reasons. If you wanna celebrate, go for it. You do you, friendo. Just don't judge me for hiding my delight/relief.

I don't know what I'll do. I mean there's a chance we will have already reached the point where people will be violently dying in America by the thousands by the day by the time he dies. There won't be much partying then, but being in groups would be too dangerous.

Actually, now that I think about it, if he dies peacefully while in office, there is no cause for celebration, because it means he Won. He dies while on top. If things collapse later, it only means those who were in change when it happens loses. Unless he dies from being beaten to death by an angry mob, there isn't a real "celebration".
