I hate that Google is following this lead...

Micro?!?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Love my AirPods! I don’t dance around like fucking idiot so maybe that’s why I like them. They never fall out. Great on airplanes.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cut open the dog and make a fortune.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

... but he's a good dog, bront

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

"Hey, you wanna buy a pair of chewed, stomach-acid-pocked, really smelly earbuds? Fifty bucks"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All I think of is Cybermen

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hate apple but seriously who dances like that w/ headphones in? Like just play it out loud you hoe

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

People in Apple commercials since the iPod was first advertised ages ago.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just modified mine with some cable from my older headphones and clip them to my clothes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My brother has these. They are pretty cool. They fall out less than the corded ones. No cord to accidentally tug on

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Apple earphones are bad at staying in ears anyway, they sit so awkwardly in there.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

You can use any BT earphones your little heart desires you don’t have to use apples earphones

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 9 a subliminal message?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was great! As headphone pfiliac, airpods are the greatest thing Ive ever tried. Warmly recommend!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm going to be honest, you look dumb as fuck but it's so nice not having to have cords, guess that could be solved with a cordless headset.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gawd, I hate ear buds. My ears won't hold them and I have to buy kiddy-headsets because the alternative is snob headsets at $100 a pair.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be honest, airpod are probably the best thing apple made. It is more a convince for me cuz I am constantly moving about. Ugly but works

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

And it never fall out of my ears unless something hitting it, such as taking off cloth

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Why is it more likely that theyll fly out now that with the cable? The bit that goes in your ears surely isnt vastly different than before

8 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 3

People are dumb.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Actually they are. Cannot wear earpods. Airpods however feel much better. Havent figured out what they changed though

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More like if they do fall out, they're going to fly away instead of being caught by a cable, me thinks.

8 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 2

precisely. if you have a cable, even if just to connect the two headphones, they're still a lot easier to find.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I'd rather spend 100$ on wireless buds that do this by default.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amazon sells such cables

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

“Hey can I get a cable to lasso my $150 Air Pods?”

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone should invent a cord or a lanyard or something that connects them together and then maybe to your device so you don't lose them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try them before you complain about them. I love mine, I can watch anime or other TV on my phone while working out, since the phone can be

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Far away from me, on the floor or on the banks nearby. I’ve never had them fall out at a bad time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's that about john Gacy?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well hot damn. I've been keeping an eye on this post just to see if any one noticed. Took longer than I thought.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have such bad cauliflower ears I can never wear these anyway. Yes I'm bitter

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got these ridiculous looking things bc I would tear my headphones out of my ears on doorhandles or my own knee 10x/day

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fyi out of the all the people Ive known who own these, none of em have lost em yet. Some of em work out and dance with these on. Theyre good

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like really good quality. Overpriced for sure, but they feel fantastic.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The end game for Apple is to put batteries in their desktop computers as well. Ya know.. so that those have a shorter life span as well...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

this is BS. I’ve had mine for months with no problems. This is just propaganda from other wireless makers with crappier earphones.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol i cant stress this enough on how many times I freaking have a panic attack because I cant find the damn thing

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it just mine or does the mic suck balls out loud for dictation?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a dude that wears them at the gym and they haven't fallen off when he works out. They look dumb but I was impressed.

8 years ago | Likes 219 Dislikes 8

I know two friends that have them, they’ve never had a problem.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've only seen one person using them and my first though, man that looks stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I live in the uae every arab and there dogs have apple airpods and watches.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

They basically have the same shape as the earpods, which I use for gym and running. They fall only when I accidentally pull the cable.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

They never fall off of other people.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I use their products, not a fan of the company. But the AirPods are dope as hell. Very snug fit, albeit overpriced. But alternatives suck

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Check out a teardown! I thought they were dumb at first but now I'm really impressed! The technology they fit in there is pretty cool!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

FFS they are designed to share music

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Never skip ear day

8 years ago | Likes 90 Dislikes 0

You look dumb! - guy from the gym

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

This is why I shove my phone in my ass at the gym. I get to listen to music without headphones and the vibrations pump me up.

8 years ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 2

ResTecP

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"R E S T E C P, do you even know what that spells?"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

User name mostly checks out.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Gold

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

plus they are traceable if you lose them.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 14

I have literally never had a headset that could stay in my ears. So, no to that. Im gonna have to use adapters when my beloved iphone 6s

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 3

There's a kind of headset that doesn't go in your ears, it uses vibration of the bone in front of your ears. It's sounds pretty good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are several ear-insertion varieties, even ear-hook-ear-insertion -all with different size buds.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Interesting.. i thought it was the same shape for the apple ibuds

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh i wasnt talking about Apple

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have tiny ears and haven't found hooks or buds small enough for me. I even have kids headphones and they are too big.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plus stops working and i have to get a new iPhone

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Simple just get an android.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

I would.. except i own an apple watch and several tablets too.. so im kinda invested... which doesnt mean i cant gripe about apple

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I can't do it. Won't give up my 3.5mm. Apple finally hit my breaking point with that one. :( Broke my heart, too. But they also (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What is the attachment to the 3.5mm? Nostalgia? I know the feeling I’m still watching movies on beta max.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you knew anything about bit rate you'd know why Bluetooth headphones suck.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I don’t care about bit rate, theysound good to me that’s all that matters. I can’t speak for air pods but my pair of bose sound great.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, I just like good headphones, blue tooth isn't still fully reliable, and Apple's dongle BS is annoying as fuck.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Haha ok

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have a MAJOR bug they've known about for years that erases ALL your data doing restore & told me "We know. Your problem." So screw 'em. (2/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Thats what a restore does tho? Wipes the phone...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Okay, you can reset your phone, & restore the data you previously had to it. You back it up on your phone, wipe the phone, restore data

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is a well-known bug. Well documented online. Apple flat out told us "Yeah, we know, can't do anything about it." Lost 6 years of shit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Problem is, iTunes has a nice glitch where even if you choose not to encrypt your data, it'll encrypt it anyways, without ever giving a PW

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have them and use them since February every day. They stayed in my ears, even while exercising, no problem.

8 years ago | Likes 163 Dislikes 30

Been using them for about a month now. Can confirm, they never fall out. Great as a Bluetooth device; people hear me perfectly.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes, every day they stay in. They won’t come out. They whisper hateful things into my ears. I feel like I’m losing control. Help me.

8 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 1

JUST WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE calmly presenting a personal experience for a pro Apple view here on Imgur... (PS: I'm an Android user)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My inner ears are shaped funny, so nothing remotely earbud shaped fits in my ears. Woe is me. :c

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The android fanbois will have your ass for making a comment like this.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Shhh... never imply good things about Apple on Imgur. Hitler is fine, but don't let them know you like Apple :)

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 4

doesn't make it anyless retarded of a design choice.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 28

Actually, if they work... I think it does.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well you don’t have to buy them you know. There are plenty of other options out there. Just let people enjoy their products. It’s not hard.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I'm imagining the people who down voted that were thinking bitterly, "well la-tee-dah motherfucker."

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 3

Probably. Gave him an up doot 'cause I see no problem with the comment.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

Mumbling something about android while they downvote lol

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

Genuine question, how do you clean them?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you mean the mesh?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, my earphones have a silicone bumper that don't allow me to shove it too deep into the ear, can replace just that part that comes 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

in four different sizes and can easily find a third party replacement. Just use some soap and water to clean. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We can all agree they design things specifically to need replacing, chargers, headphones, they just turn em into micro transactions

you're mistaking technology evolution and programmed decay.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

real life: the game brought to you by EA

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hate how two single earphones has became the new design.. it's just silly and they look silly

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean if the pricing was reasonable I'd be in favor of wireless earphones

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's called manufactured obsolescence

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Considering apples pricing hubris I would call it macro transactions.

8 years ago | Likes 203 Dislikes 1

I was about to say the same thing...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Their charging chords fray and tear very easily. Also here’s an adapter to use good quality headphones with a headphone jack

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

minus the 'micro' part lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Apple is in the business of making MONEY. Lots of money.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For what purpose? They aren't exactly giving it back to shareholders.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look at the stock value for the answer. They create more value by building massive cash reserves.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd prefer the dividend of I could afford their stock.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All companies do that

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

John Deere?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That doesn't make it right.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Your right, it does not

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bullshit

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

None of the people I know who own them have ever lost them or had any complaints about this. Mine stick much better than earpods ever did.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Shhhhh the sheep are easily frightened

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 26

i dont even own an apple product, and i can say that they stay in there pretty well tbh.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sheeple

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

Planned obsolescence

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 4

That’s what my dad used to call me.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Are you an organ donor? If so, watch out

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Atleast you were planned....

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm so happy somebody else knows this term exists. It's been around so long and people are just now realizing it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Word

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People above 40's realized it, below 40's accepted it. We can't do shit about it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want a zombie movie where this and DRM get in the way of people trying to get anything done

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know! It’s just...I’m still spoiled by all the years of having stuff that wasn’t nearly as cool, but was freakin’ indestructible.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Me, too. Gimme my old ass Walkman & it's headset any fucking day. I literally spliced my headset into my pillow when I was 12 (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Point being, that headset could survive a nuclear apocalypse.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

LONG Before musical pillows became a thing. Asked my Mom to help me patent it. Told me it was ridiculous & no one would want. X_x (2/2)

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Lol! I know that line - I still get it when I have a million $ idea! Something like, “That’s nice, dear, run along now.”

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They never fall off, and traceable with your iphone if they get lost. I lose EVERYTHING and I haven't lost them yet.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 12

really?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Same. I guess it depends on the person tho they don’t fit in all ears perfectly. Also the case makes them harder to lose

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Have an acquaintance who's ears aren't right for it. He has already lost 3 yet surprisingly still apple smug about it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Jesus just buy a different brand at that point.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is a idiot who thinks apple can do no wrong and would buy a screen dongle if they sold the screen separately with the iPhone 9

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
