And let's just say I support his life decisions hahahahaha

Also, side note: I'd love to put a bed in his kennel, but he keeps tearing em up. Dog People of Imgur; any suggestions?

They make mats specifically for those kennels too that are soft to lay on but fill up the whole thing so it seems like a soft floor!

Get him some bully sticks.

2/2 feeding him in there and allowing him to sleep there with the gate open. He will consider it home in no time

That's called a boner.

Have you tried bedding made by darntough (sp) there are beds made for doggos who are know to chew.

Try a horse stall mat instead of the crate tray. You can get them in a softer foam, but they're a pain to cut. My pup loves hers!

Galiled. The noun Galil is what this guy is holding. Galiled is what he is gonna to to somebody with it

That's not a bone, that's a boner

I bought a sticky mat for my dog's kennel once. She walked in front of the TV and pooped 3/4 of it right in front of me.

I feel your pain hahahahaha

I'm not judging but leaving your dog locked in a kennel all day seems super shitty. Ok I'm judging

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

It's only while I'm at work/when he's wet from a bath

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Maybe he's bored. Give him tons of exercise and play time and he'll be too tired to wreck his bed.

'bitter spray' on the dog bed and training

Damn that dog likes to bone down

I put old towels in with my dogs & left them in there until they no longer chewed on them. Once they stop, switch to a bed. Voila!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was doing that, but I kept pulling Towel shreds out of his butt :(

Yeah right you bought it for you...

Best solution is to tire him out before putting him in there. A half-hour walk should do it. And make his kennel his favorite place by 1/2

This is not the bone you're looking for

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would you give your dog a dildo?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice butt plug.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The kinda opposite situation happened to me.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

... my dog ate a bone shaped 'toy'

Suggestion: Don't keep him in a cage.

Stupid... kennel training is a great way to keep a healthy happy dog if done properly

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No. Crate training is a life saver if done right. The pups generally love their crate, and it keeps them and your home out of harms way

It's his space: he spends a lot of time in there while I'm at home with the door wide open anyway. At present he's wet, so I shut the door

K9 ballistics make some great quality beds/mats. Run the snot out of your pup and he'll be less inclined to destroy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I take home longboarding, and he's happy to run a few extra miles as fast as he wants, but the pavement tears up his little pupper paws :(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Good job on the exercising, Mushers secret is awesome for paw pads. He looks young so he's probably got soft pads right now. He looks 1/2

High energy. Lab mixed with ? The ballistics beds are pricey but worth it- lthey can stand up to psychotic huskies they'll do your boy well.

Unless he's a super strong chewer they make a canvas type pillow bed. Harder to chew up. Worked for my dog.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oooh, that might work! Where at?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I found it at Ross.

My lab made a canvas bed his bitch. No bed is strong enough for lab.

Suggestions? Stop buying your dog toys from Adult World for one.

Maybe @OP spends time buying adult toys from Dog World. Collars and leashes and thick braided rope,

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was in the pet store I swear! It was the biggest, whitest one they had hahahahah

Yeaaaah, not buying it

It's the Galileo Bone by Nylabone. Very tough. Keep an eye out for cracking teeth, and throw it away once the outer nubs are worn down.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Will it hurt my dogs teeth? I just wanted something that will last lol; he destroys toys and chew bones

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It'll probs be fine. Just check your dogs teeth once in a while in general. Especially as they get older.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Could be fine. Depends on how tough he is with it. They are great toys, but some dogs can hurt their teeth with very hard toys like this.

Your dog wants freedom, he rips up shit because he doesn't like being alone. PROTIP, don't leave him alone.

But, I have to go to work. He's with me for 16 hours a day, but I need to pay rent. Is there anyway I can ease that anxiety while I'm gone?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Don't listen to this kid. Keeping your pup in a crate while your not home keeps everyone happy and safe.
