Don't get me wrong I love where I live here in Fort Worth Texas, I just think it might be fun to try something different for a change. Or at least just take a nice vacation for a little.

Move to Minnesota or northern Wisconsin or northern Michigan/the UP.

Is it easy getting a job in Canada as a foreigner? This coming from a swede, the Canada of Europe.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Weird, I live in Dallas and was just telling my friend how I want to move to Canada because it is so beautiful compared to the Southern US

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Umm ND or MN will do that for you

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm single and Canadian..I'll feed you poutine at hockey games.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry, but I don't think your Canada material. You didn't even aplogize.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm so sorry

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well then you should move to Canada. Or, just to get your feet wet, try Alaska first. Seems like a good Texan/Canadian transitional state.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a Canadian, you might as well we need at least one stereotypical dumb ass living here to live up to it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Contrary to popular belief, we are not all idiots.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Minnesota might work for you. I know you can get that stuff in upstate NY but can't recommend living there

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Or northern Wisconsin or northern Michigan or the UP

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Buffalo is very near to the border so I would try there. But having just moved out of NY I second that recommendation of not living there.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Come and visit during winter man, give it a try! Please be careful driving on snow though, especially if you haven't driven in it before.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

this must've been weighing heavy on your mind. Good for you getting it off your chest, champ!

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

It's been really hard, I just don't know how to handle the pressure anymore.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

"Whoa, son. I don't know about the big man upstairs, but i certainly can't release you from these sins, you beast" priest, probably

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Our poutine is worth the move.

Real talk: where's the warmest region in Canada? Because you guys have all the right perks but I'm not much on frigid temps

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pentiction B.C. is usually scorching. In the winter they only get a light snow and plus 40 C in the summer... as a Canadian I'm melting

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

However Toronto is surrounded by the lakes so, we get alot of precipitation from them. This summer we had a heat wave of 100°F for a while

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's pretty rough winters depending where you are, from my own experience. Id say the southern Ontario area is usually the warmer. Toronto

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same except I don't care about hockey. Or sports in general.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Dating a Canadian girl right now here in Houston..... the plan is almost complete

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds like youd like Michigan

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Poutine.... A perfect mix of fat, gravy and cheese.. :) I welcome you

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My dads from Wisconsin so that's where I had it first. It's heavenly.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are you me? Have been considering moving to Canada for... I dunno, 5 years maybe?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

"Is this me? Is this real life?"

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Can I ask if either of you have decided on where you want to go in Canada?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably Toronto, my cousin use to live there and loved it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Toronto can be a lot of fun. (i've spent most of my life there)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Come to Edmonton, AB. We have no culture, our winters are brutal and the people are kind of shitty, but we have good restaurants!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Hey you have Bioware! What's not to love about that? I hear they give tours as well ;)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol pretty much nailed it. Don't forget the ton of random rain in the spring

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And crappy roads and even worse drivers. I almost get in a wreck every time I go there, or just stuck in traffic..

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've never had poutine

9 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 2

You poor human being... you need to get to Canada ASAP!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Minnesota is good too

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I might have a job in Wisconsin, I have a lot of family there. But I do love it here in Texas.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Stay in Texas, cold weather is fun until you get snowed in once a week and you can't stand outside for more than 10 minutes.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ever had swamp ass for 7 months straight? The heat ain't much fun either.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Am Canadian, dont listen to the naysayers. I love winter storms, snowshoeing, maple syrup season and cabanes a sucre.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Would hate livinf in hot climate; anything above 20 degrees in summer has me blasting the AC. Canada is awesome.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There's place on Preston Road and I-635 that serves poutine, if you're up for a drive to Dallas.

9 years ago | Likes 90 Dislikes 0

Totally going to check this place out. Thanks!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn just moved away from Ft Worth in June to Abilene. Now I have a reason to drive back!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a place run by a Montrealer in California called Redondo Beach Café. He serves poutine and has tons of Montreal Canadiens stuff

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also The Blind Butcher has an AMAZING duck poutine. They're on Greenville Ave!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Canadian here. Is it poutine or fries with cheese and gravy?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

North Dallas-ite here. Definitely checking this place out.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck, I was in college station for 3 years and never knew about this

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For good poutine no distance is too far

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Goddamn, that's like 4 miles from me. Thanks for the heads up, laddie/lass.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
