The internship is for Aeromechanics.

FP Edit: Thank you all for your kind words. Send homemade engineering projects! And nudes.
It is an amazing opportunity. I will be sure to post about my adventure there.
Also, for those asking, it's at Mountain View, CA.
I am currently seeing a psychiatrist as well as taking antidepressants for two months, but it's been getting worse.

Well you've got nowhere else to go but up now.

Whenever I felt like that, people told me it would be good in the end, just get it together. So instead I say hang in there. You are awesome

Things will get worse before they get better. But if they keep getting worse, and you don't feel like it's working, change what you can.

Don't stress that it's seemingly getting a lot of long term meds can take 6 weeks+ to start working and some can make you worse first.

sometimes you gotta try diff types of antidepressants to find the right one. from experience, i know it’s tough & shitty but it gets better.

If it's getting worse after 2 months though you should probably re-contact your therapist and check with em...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It can also take a while for the right one to kick in

Sorry to hear it's not working out yet, but keep it up. Perhaps the doc can recommend different types of therapy that might work for you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got mine under control with some cognitive therapy, but it never goes away completely.

How do people manage to being in depression and, at the same time, make their dream come true...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Friends, family, and small daily victories. Pursuing what is interesting. Knowing I want to change this world...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fvck yeah NASA! Depression is temporary, it comes and goes, don't fret over it, just you do you.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just work towards your goals. Depression is a symptom of not achieving whatever your goals are. It's your brain's/nature's way of telling...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you to do whatever it is you think you're suppose to be doing.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Counseling if for people who have had truly traumatic experiences. Otherwise it amounts to little more than life coaching.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah, but think where you could have gone if your grades hadn't slipped... :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

......... SpaceX?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

maybe? who knows, the sky's the limit. wait, no, you are going to NASA, they go beyond the sky...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your degree could be worth ten times more overseas in shitty places that don't know what they're doing.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

But, but they're shitty places. He doesn't want to go live in a shitty place. And overseas? American shitty places are at least in the US.

Art makes the world a prettier place. :-)

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Really depends.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
