What was the point of doing what he did with the rock? Like... It scoured all around it, went through all the trouble of picking it out of the dirt, and............... ??? Then just pans away from it.
It's not like he did all that to take it out and inspect it, he just left it in the hole that it was in. So pointless.
My one problem with this is . . . I wanna know more. Where’s it at? Who made it? What was their inspiration? Is it finished or are they planning to do more? So many questions about this beautiful art project.
AI land. Watch the far left side, top corner, around 10-14 seconds in. There are parts that are clearly hovering and moving back and forth between depths.
Such exquisite confidence, too. For hours after others posted the real life artist and rough location of the work as well as video of the artist AT the work.
That's not usually why art is created. Generally it's shared, and respected. Sometimes that means protection or upkeep, but there are beautiful statues, sculptures, murals, gardens, and architecture all over the world that's currently enduring hundreds if not thousands of people a day and if it were to be damaged, that's thanks to the few, not the many.
There's enough to sad about without assuming the worst. These are done by a professional, and art is shared all over the world without being ruined. I don't know his motivation or methods, but I'd rather assume he did it in an accessible place and there's some protection or upkeep like most public statues. Statistically, there's gotta be more art out there that is perfectly fine than art that isn't. I'm thinking of art and buildings in the most populated or touristy areas of the world.
True. But many of them are also amazing. Like many of the people I work with at an animal shelter; so many of the techs could make much more money working private practice but instead they choose to work for a lower wage to save animals in need.
Somewhere in Switzerland. One of the clay sculptures of Francois Monthoux. Apparently some of them are already gone, destroyed by rain. But he has mixed cement into the clay for his more recent projects so they should be a little less ephemeral.

You get credit because you could’ve titled this ‘wait for it’ and had it actually be worth the payoff, but you still didn’t do it.

The Smurfs sure have changed over the years.
Sage042000
Well a lot of things changed when Gargamel started dating Medusa.

This is a depection of the original Smurfs as told by the Brothers Grim.

Based on the (current) top comment it seems to be Smurf Village
TinyLiehon
Which sadly means you can only find it if a Smurf leads you to it or the planets align (which highlights its location)

No don't. If anyone says, it'll get destroyed. The Internet sucks

People suck. The Internet is just a megaphone for their suckitude. That's why I really appreciate posts here at Imgur that showcase the good ones.

If nobody knows it what's the point of it? Isn't art made to be known?
Ularsawa
To be known: yes. To be destroyed by morons: no.

That was my thought. And then I became sad, because too many humans suck.
