I really like your color scheme and all the different textures you incorporated. That sink is massive! We need more pics of the pantry nook.

Very similar to what we want, but girlfriend and I are scared of the costs

The original remind me of every scene set in the 60s where the angry husband leaves the table w/ a passive aggressive face and goes to a bar

Oh my god is that gorgeous. Not usually excited about kitchen rehab but holy shit is that sexy.

That pantry is just the best. Everything else looks great too. Your pantry is legit the size of my entire kitchen.

Very pretty & stylish. Thank you for not going down the boring bland souless modern sleek trend.

Good job. Now all it needs is that plastic skeleton hidden in unused space.

It reminds me of a Dutch farm kitchen. Idk why I’ve never seen a Dutch farm kitchen, but it does.

Oh god the original is way fucking cooler, no offense

I am so loving the new tile!!!

Good on you for using butcher block. I work in the countertop industry and I feel it's underappreciated.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Cheers... it looks like a butcher block.. but it’s actually a chopping board with knife drawer.so handy. I have a thing for chopping boards

I liked the original better.

This is AMAZING. If real estate prices weren’t so high and competition wasn’t so bad I would be doing this too! I really itching to renovate

Very well done. Good job.

Don't know why imgurians prefer seeing the finished product first. I much prefer seeing it step by step

Maybe this is my American showing, but how come no full sized refrigerator?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looks great, by the way.

We wanted the full wrap around counter top so settled for a small fridge ... but we have a utility room that has a bigger fridge/ freezer.

Makes sense. Well, it all looks beautiful.

Someday, this new kitchen will look as dated and "ugly" as the old one.

dam what an astute and absolutely necessary observation way to spread positivity

Oh man! That former pantry/ little nook is awesome!

It looks like a butler's pantry

You ruined it! /s looks amazing !

Also we did the same tiles. Those are popular these days. Guaranteed in 30 years they get a ton of eye rolls. “So 2020’s”

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In fairness... the metro tile has been used since the 1800s.well established as a classic and easy to keep clean..brightens up small spaces

True true. They are awesome.

Also I think we have the same hood as you.

Digging the color you went with!! Great job!

Thank you...It’s Midnight pearl Blue.. if you were wondering.... the wainscotting is a grey primer... for now...

4 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

That blue is fucking beautiful!

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I like the grey primer too! I have completely untreated wainscoting in the hallway that could use a facelift

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The trouble with the primer is that it isn’t sealed... we wanted the Matte effect... but it absorbs any grease or dirt that hits it.

True that! Especially in a kitchen that would be problematic. I hope you find paint that works for you!
