I used to be scared of dogs.

I didn't understand them

And often they were bigger than me and nocked me over occasionally

Sometimes I'd meet a quiet dog laying down and I'd pet it.

Where I grew up nobody walked their dog, They were just let out.

One dog always laid on the pavement when I walked home from kindergarden.

It looked pretty lonely, so I made friends with it.

And occasionally he'd try and follow me home.
I had to tell him not to.
I still regret that.
