Since the oil that Canada extracts from its reserves is so low quality, it has a lot of sulfur in it. This sulfur is taken out during the refining process and is made into bricks and stacked in huge mounds in Canada until the price of sulfur goes up. The vertical wall in this picture is 25 feet tall.

Canada extracts enough sulfur from their oil to build the Great Pyramid of Giza out of sulfur in only 1 year.

There is a group at the University of Arizona that is making batteries out of sulfur and it looks VERY promising.
