11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I always upvote GG

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, I mean if you spell tomato phonetically, it'd be either tomahto or tomayto. Just saying.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a barber PLEASE don't do that. I'm so gullible...

Upvoting for the "don't even know her!" joke. That is my favourite kind of humour

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you don't already, go watch some Hannah Hart on YouTube. My Drunk Kitchen has a looooot of these jokes. Also she's adorable.

And you're my favourite kind of person, thank you.

At least the comic got it right...

Ambulus means "run" in Latin.

11 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 10

Or ambulant (plural)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not even close. Ambulare is the verb to walk. Currere is to run.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

But what does amberlamps mean?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So plural'd be “ambulantia”. It came to current form via army field hospitals. Other words of same origins are alley, ambulatory and amble.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I thought it meant "walk"?

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ambulare is the infinitive ('to walk', more than run), -us is a noun ending. But yeah basically an ambulance is a movey-thing :)

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

That's hilarious XD

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unless I'm very much mistaken, that's not even a word. Ambulare though is 'to walk'.

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Good point.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I read "Feyonce" out loud about 4 times before i got it.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I still don't get it :(

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When read out loud, "Feyonce" sounds like "fiance"

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks. I guess I'm to used to just reading english, so I don't recognize the sound anymore :)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't help but feel a lot of the stuff that sounds hilarious online would be annoying as fuck in real life

11 years ago | Likes 284 Dislikes 7

A lot of these are stolen from tumblr, anyway.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Are you implying that this is not real life? That Imgur is some false reality? THIS IS REAL!!!

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Humor in real life is far more dependent on context. If you walked up to someone and they just blurted out any of these, it would be weird

11 years ago | Likes 95 Dislikes 1

I would laugh so hard--would be refreshing.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I feel like the chameleon one would work, but only to somebody that you were already talking with.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There was this one comedian (wish I could remember his name) I remember seeing on tv, who sat on stage with a notepad, pen and eating 1~

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

bag of chips, and basically told really cheesy jokes one at a time and would scratch them off his and edit his list based on reactions. 2~

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe 1 out of every 3 were actually good jokes but his mannerism and stage presence was hilarious. 3/3

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To be fair, that's not usually how jokes are told IRL.

11 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

That's my point. None of these things would be funny IRL, because they're not presented correctly

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

lol it's funny when people make things ridiculous to strengthen their point

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You know what else is funny? Dead babies. Because of decomp. They smell funny. *badumtsh*

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 9

Lots of comedians say "you ever notice how.." and it's something I've NEVER noticed.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha yeah all the time. I let it slide if it's necessary but if they're just making up shit people don't actually do it kinda ruins it
