It definitely has some weak points, but overall its left me interested.

Weak exposition. Bare-bones gameplay. Bugs and glitches. Terrible acting.

I refunded because it just didnt feel like mass effect. And i cant explain it but for some reason it felt really boring.

I fucking love the game right now

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not that it is bad, it's that it is not everything desired. Which you can attribute to both gamer entitlement and product shortcomings.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I love RPG's and i want to buy Andromeda but the review aren't that great. What's your opinion about that.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its a really solid game and the jump jets are awesome

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I refuse to get it because of the racists and sexist people who worked on it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Glitchy, no animations for body language unlike the previous three, I still haven't put it down except to sleep or work

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its not a terrible game but when you consider the series its apart of its just painfully average

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It could be they dislike the racist guy who works there. It could be that a sequel should improve on its predecessor. Ugly animations.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

I also think the game is good. Actually, I'm enjoying it more than the previous mass effects. And yes, I played 1, 2 and 3 to the bone.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

It could be objectively perfect and beloved by everyone who plays it and yet there's always going to be someone who thinks you're a stupid

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

asshole for enjoying it. If you like it, great. Play it and don't get worked up about other opinions

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The amount of fetch quests and animations between EVERY PLANET make me wanna die. But hey you can look outside and see badly textured crap

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I do too wtf.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always was drawn to the ME games because of lore, setting and characters and I feel this game delivers on all those fronts. I like it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't know it. Googled it. First thing: "Underwhelming Gay Romance Options in Mass Effect: Andromeda". This is what we worry about in games?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I'm liking it so far, leaving final verdict till after I finish. Though the bugs & crashes are frustrating.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For me its the bitter memories of ME3, knowing that Manveer Heir works for them, and that the animation quality does look terrible.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I mean, Assassins Creed was ripped apart for their shit. No o e gets a pass.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hear there isn't a renegade paragon system. Is this true?

It's easy to cherry pick the worst of a visual bug, makes it easy for people who hate it to shit on it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's popular to hate anything these days.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I loved the original 3, started Andromeda and am enjoying it. Graphics are pretty and the gameplay is what i'd expect from Mass Effect.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It does crash and freeze on me sometimes, though, could do without that. I'm not that far but I like it so far.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm on PC. I play at 1080p ultra. I've experienced only 1 crash and 1 glitch in the beginning. I honestly don't see the issues.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm on PC playing at at least that, if not 4K. It has crashed on me 3 times total, always while trying to load.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Heard it was the same plot as the first one

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is. Gameplay is fun and rewarding. Quests feel meaningful. Story is alright. Facial expressions on non-essential humans are wonky though.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A friend of mine said it's basically the same as Fallout 4, a solid game that just didn't add much to a fantastic series.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 3

The combat is definitely the best thing about the game besides the character development. Ryder by the end of the game goes full badass mode

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dont really find it "solid" by any stretch

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

It's almost as if there are people who find it solid though

Explain

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Apart from the bad animations and ugly models, the story feels uninspired and disjointed. I hate the characters and they feel like >

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Poor rehashes of precious characters. The sidequests are pathetic. You can't command squadmates meaning you rely on bad AI to set up combos>

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They succeeded at making huge worlds they just feel empty and are full of mundane bullshit. The multiplayer doesnt even work for me

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I didn't go into the game comparing characters to the OT, because it defeats the purpose of playing the new game. You can control squad in >

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh depends what you want from mass effect. Personally i find it to be more of a sequel to the first game than 2 or 3.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This, I'd lump the firat three into ME part 1, this is ME part 2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed, and much in the same way as ME1 this game is setting a foundation for a new adventure - building towards more.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just hope it keeps the open world exploration over the linear shooter that was ME1&2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Could you expound on the positive attributes?

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Engaging combat, very memorable party members, sense of discovery, LOTS to do, great cheesy humor, very serious moments... there's more.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

There is a ton to do, played 41 hours so far and I feel like I have a long way to go. Especially since I am not prioritizing the main story.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great combat system, interesting characters, preferably Vetra, new galaxy, new race, nice story. Pretty much what I personally like about it

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I love jael or jaal whatever the pink dude is

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm not a huge fan personally, and I feel racist because I don't like the angara in general. I feel lime I'm picking dialogue out of guilt

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I believe jaal is correct. He's loves his race and culture. He's also one of the most emotional crew members we have. Really cool dude.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ive seen some videos and the dialog seems somewhat forced

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It varies a lot. Some is good some isnt.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

On some characters, like Peebee, I can see that. I've only played 12 hours of it and so far I'm digging some dialogue. But, I see

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The physics. v

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 3

Haha that's amazing

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have never been more aroused

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Break it down!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey! You made the joke, you didn't explain it. =(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The whole game is a joke. I don't have that kind of time.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Boob physics have really come a long way

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I wish they'd go back.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its ok... not the follow up mass effect deserves.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

Depends what you consider mass effect. I see it as a truer sequel to the first game than mass effect 2 or 3 were.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Andromeda feels almost more what I wanted Mass Effect 1 to be than ME1 actually was. I'm liking it, despite the huge waves of negativity.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think this is where the hate comes from. Not that it's awful, just a bit of a disappointment.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

It's the dragon age 2 of the mass effect series.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Fuck no it isn't, it's not nearly that bad. It's the inquisition if anything. Alright, but definitely different from its source material.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The biggest let down for me is the lack of music and species

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah, I wanted a variety of new species, not two

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And (SPOILER!)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They ended up being the fucking same
