My wife and I spent 4 days riding around upstate NY. I am really happy with this shot, it looks like the moment fall transitions into winter. We were headed up Whiteface Mountain.

The summit was in the clouds, and a bit colder than we anticipated.

We were one of the first to arrive at the top. Most other cars stayed below the clouds to enjoy those views. (for anyone wondering, black bike is 1978 Ironhead and red is 1976 Shovelhead)

Some of the frozen trees.

The hike up.

The trail to the top opened soon after we arrived, and we hoped the clouds would burn off.

the wife.

Some blue sky, it was going to happen.

The clouds cleared! The foliage was amazing, especially with the snow still in view.

even if it was below freezing

And riding off into the sunset. It was an amazing weekend, if you haven't explored the Adirondacks, I highly recommend it. Hope you like my pictures.

If any of you have never seen New England in the fall it should be on your bucket list. Just stay and help rake leaves for the experience.

I seriously hate to hear that. My wife has her own and rides with me. We somehow even managed to keep both after our son was born.

People don't realize NY means things like this. They only think about the city. Me, I grew up with this and Watkins Glen as my NY.

I can imagine! I rode my Honda 360 12 months a year. You haven't lived until you've ridden in -20 temperatures.
