Dog I used to watch figured out she could put her ball on the stairs and she could chase it... sometimes. See she never quite figured out why the ball rolled sometimes, when it was on the edge, and not others. So when it wouldn't go she'd just bark at it.

And why is the person just sitting there and not playing?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

our dog learned that if he placed his ball on his blanket and then shook the blanket, the ball would go flying. self serve chase :)

Life. It's the same for everyone. We're all just trying to get some extra endorphins in our lives. :)

i like to think that this is how early humans figured out the bow and arrow.

I wouldn't mind if my dog, if I had one, tried to train me.

Hey! I'm pretty sure the music is Pomplamoose! I love them so much. c:

My cat plays with hair ties more than any of several hundred dollars of cat enrichment and entertainment. Tower? Cat shelf? Cat wheel? Distant second, third, and fourth places to The Hair Ties.

Bichons are the perfect combination of intelligent but also happy to be a lapdog

He’s using his hearing to find it, right? Knows exactly where it lands. That’s awesome.

Aka "nose toughener"

Well shit, that's the pupper equivalent of me all last weekend.

Nice, mine wasn’t so smart. He would try to eat them and they would get stuck in his throat

Nataly Dawn?

aren't you supposed to keep those things away from your dogs so they don't suffocate on them?

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yes. Yes you are. To open the intestine to get one of those out will run you at least $1500.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yes

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They will eat them and can quickly end up needing surgery to save their lives from a blockage or bind..

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

He only flicks them! He knows what he’s doing, he’s not an idiot.

Funny, this gif has no audio, yet I can clearly hear it.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I can tell the cat ran off because the person recording started laughing lol

Cats are the smartest dumbasses I've ever had as pets. No other animal cam figure out how to maneuver terrain / catch stuff midair casually like they do, only to get scared out of their minds by their own foot

You'll note that in both this gif and the one in the parent comment, both cats are orange. There's a certain truth to the claim that orange cats are the special idiots of the cat world, I guess! As a former owner of several orange idiots, I can also anecdotally confirm it, lmao. So sweet, so loving, and so incredibly dumb!

My dog used to fling my ex's hair ties all over my old apartment. Not by stretching them like this, but just by picking them up in his mouth and throwing them. He does the same thing with ice cubes before eating them and chases them across the kitchen floor.

My pups do that with carrots.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My dog does that, but he's 110lbs of rez mutt throwing a beef femur and I worry he's going to take out my TV one day..

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Perhaps a plexiglass shield, for when you're not watching?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My dog learnt how to throw rolls of electrical tape around the room. She loved the way they rolled

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a rabbit who would throw the lid to the raisin tub like a frisbee. Cutest damned thing ever. The one I have now, Hacksaw, has found a short length of chain from a plant hanger somewhere and likes to carry it around and clink it on the floor. I'll hear him carry it to the living room and then just *clink!*clink!*clinkclink!*clink!* under the coffee table for half an hour.

Hacksaw carrying a chain for fun, that’s one metal af rabbit

"Some people calls it a sling chain, but me, I calls it a Kaiser chain" ~Hacksaw, probably

Where is pics of this doggo? It’s necessary… for science.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You probably shouldn't be doing science with dogs... just saying.

But how will we get our lab results?

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

try to retrieve your results in another way

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This was a couple of years ago, but he has perpetual puppy face despite being 5 lol

Boxer? Sounds like my pupper!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Chiweenie actually, but 100% believe that from the boxers I've met.
