They gave me precautionary abdominal radiation, just in case it had progressed. It sucked, but my final day was October 31. As I left, the nurses asked why I looked sad… I told them “Here I am, Halloween night, 3 weeks of being bombarded with radiation… And I’m not even going to glow in the dark tonight!”
