Because Graveyards Aren't Fun Enough

There are a few things you accept once you win the contracts for the Graveyards. One is that you're going to see strange things, married men having gay orgies, groups of goth girls doing weird incantations to try and summon their respective fathers approval, disembodied eyes that float in the mist.

Disembodied eyes in the mist you say? Indeed, in Brisbane in a inner city suburb there is a particular graveyard we had to lock and unlock. We were told by the Officer that was handing the keys to us "don't go after the eyes". As prophetic as it was it didn't prepare me to see eyes ranging from dog height to above human height floating in the mist if you turned your spotlights on. Luckily the mist went away when it rained and one of the guys wrote down the good luck poem on a drop card and kept it in the card "Rain, Rain, Come My Way, Make The Eyes Go Away"

Of course the Old Arcade is Haunted

Now this one building in Brisbane is getting torn down so I don't mind sayings its a arcade on Elizabeth St. On the top level is a old ballet studio from the 30's. Incidentally one of the dancers was murdered and her body thrown under the fire escape. The guard that taught me the run who'd been there for over a decade warned me about hearing dancing from upstairs, it hadn't been used as ballet studio for twenty years. "Don't mind the crying under the stairs either, she does that sometimes"

Creepy Creepy Child

Now, this one has been recounted to me by residents of the suburb and Security. In a little suburb on the northside that starts with B. Is of course another graveyard. But if you drive past there at night, don't be surprised to see a young girl on a bike anywhere between 10pm-4am. Oh and don't bother turning round to see if she needs help, you'll never find her again. You'll see her when she wants to be seen. If you had the misfortune of locking and unlocking that graveyard (boss did well with that tender, we were suddenly flooded with graveyards for a year) she may no longer be on her bike but dancing around the gravestones. Residents say she's been there for decades, don't approach her though every guard that tried ended up injured somehow.
