Iirc the other end of the bolt was letting the magic flames escape.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It is just an indicator that it is on. Working as intended.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure that light means "do not unscrew by hand" but I bet it also will toast your lunch sandwich!

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

#7 5S if properly implemented ends up working really well. People say it's all common sense but common sense isn't so common.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Great dump, shit like this is why I love working in construction

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

#1 this is training.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Hand me the Matterdatty....

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Happened to me as an apprentice. Then I passed it on later when I was an apprentice master.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My collar turned blue just reading this post.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That dump was so solid that I need the poop knife.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As an engineer myself, me know how many get defensive about it haha

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Omg *LET me know. Me not Cookie Monster.

As an industrial mechanic, this was a good dump for my regular shift dump

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

A poem: the boss makes a dollar, I make a dime, that's why I shit, on company time.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Somebody has a case of the mondays

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#21 forbidden froot loop.

5 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Solid work. A+

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's normal, next shift will handle it.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

#21 nothing, just for effect, press it to turn it off

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

#1 then you pikachu face when they found it.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Some of these hit to close to home

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I have read a couple different stories of people being sent for skyhooks and ordering/requisitioning something real and very expensive

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Loved this mechanical based memage. Can relate

#19 used to do this with a buddy and some office type person saw it.. 3h later i got called to a meeting with HR...

5 years ago | Likes 191 Dislikes 1

most of the management where I work are former floor employees so we have had meetings started by everyone being flipped off.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sounds like a strict place

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Here, the HR guy would flip you both off and make fun of your heritage.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wait. You guys have HR?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Been doing this for 4 years, if he isnt looking i shout "Fuck you Andy!" And he replies with the same. Weirdly mamagement dont seem to mind

5 years ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 0

Love it !!!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me and a girl I worked with would make "wanker" gestures across the floor to each other. Or wank gesture followed by a flick of the wrist (1

5 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

towards the other person. Also calling each other bitch tits and other assorted things, all good as long as it wasn't noticable to (2

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

customers. Good times. (3

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

I hope you greeted them accordingly.

5 years ago | Likes 144 Dislikes 0

Haha.... If only i had known why i was summoned

5 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Best be safe and start every meeting with "What's up fuck-o's?"

5 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

I did it to my friend and my boss walked in and it looked like I was flipping her off

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I told the new guys that they needed to get the ID 10T form from my chief in order to get access to the network.

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

If they don’t understand the icing on the cake is when you get them to write it down

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

nah I let my chief do that. (he was a pranker too) .

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

50 feet of shore line and left handed wrenches

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the board stretcher

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Left handed wrenches sound so believable. I kinda want to make some.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I do this all the time.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Narc or flip off coworkers?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Flip off coworkers in front of people I shouldn't be

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#8 can confirm. 1st shift never cleans the gears, had 2 consecutive days where that f***ed with the schedule(inconsequentially but still)1/2

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Didn't happen last night, only cause I expected it and preemptively cleaned them, again f***ed with the schedule, the still have today 2/3

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To make it 3 days.

Does anyone know what this is from? It seems like an amateur performance but their timing is so good!

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Really? The second verse seems very off to me.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

https://youtu.be/ZmVuNlu0LCk Starkid's Firebringer, college turned community theater group - also did Very Potter Musical, full shows on YT

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Starkid firebringer

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's from Firebringer from StarKid and you can find it on YouTube.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Did someone seriously Jb Weld a scope into a hammer? Hahahaha

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

that scope have cracked lenses after the first strike.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I might need to bash my thumb from 300 yards.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

#13 is completely accurate. Though last night I had a wrench slip off the nut and punched myself in the face.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I've done that. Akai punched myself in the chest with a 2' torque wrench and winded myself so bad I almost fell off the machine

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

*also

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#6 At one company I worked for, there was that guy in EVERY meeting. He would ask about things that had NOTHING to do with him.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

How much did he hate his work?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, he thought he was doing the right thing. He was dense. We would actively keep projects from him because we knew he would be disastrous.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because he doesn't want to go back to work XD

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, he legitimately thought he was doing the right thing. He was more than a little dense.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#7 What is ‘5S’?

5 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Management bs that makes everything slower and harder short term and is soon forgotten as management moves to the keyword of the week.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardise, Sustain.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Don't let the haters fool you. 5S is wonderful and makes life better, but lazy workers don't follow, and crappy managers don't do it right.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Some Japanese method of "streamlining workflow" sigma 5, Kizan or something

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Waste a day or more sorting tools and parts into labelled storage. Work is undone by the animals on 2nd/3rd shift within a week

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

1st/2nd shift for me

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's an organization method usually used in production. No idea why it's on construction dump?

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

It wasn't specifically construction. At least not intentionally. A lot of these apply to factory work as well.
