I'm on the train with my cat in a bag on my lap and my most important things in another bag. I guess I'm nervous because I always expected I'd be able to move in with her on different terms, with the job I really want rather than this one I'm settling on in the meantime. I'm also gonna be legally between visas until I get it sorted out, lucky my new boss is helping with all of that.
I guess it means I won't be posting more school meals after my last few days. I hope you guys enjoyed the ride, and I will still post Japan things when I get the chance.
I missed posting Thursday and Friday because Thursday I had a day off and Friday I straight up forgot; I got home and passed out. I'll post that meal today at my usual time.

When I'm out of my old job and have been for a while, I think I'll make a post about why I decided to quit. It might be useful for anyone considering becoming an ALT in Japan.

Wish me luck guys

Times like this can be scary but so rewarding. I’m excited for you! I’m looking forward to photos you post and hearing about your adventures

Living with your GF is how you'll come to understand if you two can make a long-term partnership. It IS scary. Good luck, @OP.

Find a place where you can allow yourself to feel these emotions. Don't suppress them long.

Hey @hannaFitPrince I have faith in you. Hug your cats, lift your head up, be brave and know the thoughts of many will be with you Good luck

By nature, change is uncomfortable. But so are rollercoasters. Throw your hands in the air and laugh through it! Youve got this @OP!!

Changes are always a little scary. And you know you’re not losing your family. You can do game nights by Google meets, have watch parties,>

>and FaceTime. Nothing is set in stone either. You can always go back to your comfort zone but it’s good to step out occasionally. It’s okay

How did you keep them in the bag? I'm sorry, my visual is just you sitting there with a tabby in a shopping bag.
