Biden picks Harris for VP contender

Aug 11, 2020 11:53 PM

This is a genius move on the Democrat's part, actually. It preserves the current power status quo, positions them as being opposed to Republicans while, long term, ensuring that no black female will ever become President.

Why? How many Vice-Presidents ever became elected to President? Damn few, that's how many! (The answer is 4.) And how much power and influence does the Vice-President exercise?

Jack shit, that's how little. Don't believe me, ask Dan Quayle, Mike Pence, whoever Clinton's VP was, or Carter's, without looking it up.

None of them did shit, mattered for a shit; they were chosen for political reasons to garner votes and then relegated to a back office mainly concerned with pinning Eagle Scout badges on young men and doing photo ops with winning minor league sports teams.

Kamala Harris' political career is over. She hasn't realized it, yet, but she will.

The Republican party leaders are throwing a congratulatory party for themselves, right now.

Honestly, the plot from a couple of Tom Clancy's novels is looking better and better, every day, minus the brief war with Japan.

he must like how she smells

Crime bill Joe and Kamala the cop. The 2 biggest supporters of the most racist legislation passed segregation.

It’ll be nice to have someone who’ll do ANYTHING to get a job, done.....ask the mayor of SF

"How much power and influence does the VP have?" Ask Joe Biden or Dick Cheney. The VP has as much as POTUS wants them to.

LOL! My point, exactly.

You're saying that about the VP candidate of one of the most powerful VPs in recent memory. You're deluded.

Ask Dick Cheney how much influence a VP can. She’s a legal Pitt bull and Trump should be scared shitless

I see we had the same thought.

Dick who? Wasn't he someone, once upon a time? See my point? It's a political death knell.

Are you 14? Idiots & children don't know who Cheney is.

Nobody sees your point. I know the names of most VPs, and love or hate him, but Cheney was a model VP. Kamala has that potential

Of course! We should instead vote for the party that worked harder to defend shit-covered statues of people fighting for slavery than it 1/

did to defend the lives of its citizens, especially - but not exclusive to - black people. They're the... worse... option? Somehow? 2/2

Total non sequitur. You sure you commented in the right thread?

Yup. Making Harris the VP is doing a shitload more for black women than any republican has ever imagined doing in their worst, most 1/

sweat-soaked nightmare. As a second point, your entire argument here is asinine anyway. As a THIRD point, "How many 2/

Vice-Presidents ever became elected to President?" You're really gonna say that? About a VP who is currently running for president? 3/3
