Even when we're shooting them in the face and cutting their tusks off?

I hope the elephants don't start acting like the catfish ...

Now I'm sad about Murphy, thanks

Great. Now whenever I will think of war elephants I'll have the image of Eric Cartman riding Cthulhu in my head!

she is missed

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can't believe she is dead. Just feels odd really. Some times i forget and think "wonder what she is.. oh yeah.."

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Elephants also bury their dead. They have been known to bury dead humans too. Also they are bad at telling dead humans from sleeping ones.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How do they dig a pit large enough to bury fellow elephants? Or do they just drag them around until they find one?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How was this research conducted?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

HUMANS ARE.. A CUTE

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

so... when an elephant sees me it thinks i will shit and piss everywhere...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean....you don't shit and piss everywhere?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

don't tell the elephants

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I somehow doubt they trained and made an MRI machine big enough for elephants. They did for dogs though, and yes, they do love their owners.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dunno about that...Elephants are known to eat humans

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

v

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh god they're going to make us their pets! Kill them all!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this true or another one of those internet "facts"?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Peace and love to Cute Brittany Murphy.

Absolutely:)

I'm sad

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ln I had a dream I had a pet elephant that helped me solve crimes and I went to a fancy dinner party and had to keep him out of sight

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And?...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mission accomplished

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't know I missed Britney Murphy till now, thanks.

8 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 1

Don't watch 8-mile unless you wanna miss her even more.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Same. I don't know why but it bums me out that she died.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

For me, she was “that girl we all knew and were friends with” and seemed so down to earth and relatable

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Because it's sad, internet stranger. Because it's sad.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

So the elephant that stomped my high school drafting teacher to death just wanted to pet him? Ok.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

[citation needed]

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, like how can that even be proven? Did they ask the talking elephant or just guess?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

https://imgur.com/qtsSk6a How do they mapped out brains of different species to same emotions nevermind putting elephant into MRI machine!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

fMRI is not even accurate in our species

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you refer to recent scandal about fMRI it was a bug in software that now should be fixed. I do not think that method of fMRI is flawed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sure about that « fact » ? Source ? I’m pretty sure if I meet an elephant in its natural environment it won’t try to cuddle me

8 years ago | Likes 130 Dislikes 2

Some humans have trauma or fear of dogs, some elephants have trauma or fear of humans. :^)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I've heard Elephants are one of the more dangerous animals to meet in the wild in Africa. Hippos being the worst.....

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

can't we just have this?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ahh but we also have the natural reaction to want to squeeze things to death when they are cute because we don't know how to react properly.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

and if its true. it makes it even sadder that to them. We are puppies going around killing them and enslaving them.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

We're more like cats then?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be fair, people do get killed by dogs too.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

thinking thing is cute does not mean trust it. Obviously this depends on the enviroment

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It depends honestly. In some areas, elephants have learned how shitty humans are. In others, they like humans. Depends on the people.

8 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 0

Some return to specific temples and villages time and time again, or know specific places they will be welcomed and bring their offspring.

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Folks claim they determined this because the corresponding area of their brain 'lights up'. Where the hell did they get an MRI scanner >

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

> big enough to fit an elephant? Even if there was one, and the elephant would stay still enough for an actually usefull scan, it would

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Probably be too freaked out by the noise and being stuck in a giant whooping tube to find anything 'cute'.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Do you want to cuddle all strays?

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yes.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's not got any source. Totally fabricated

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

If it's a lie, it's a lie I can live with

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean they did not put an elephant into an MRI scanner and showed it pictures of humans?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

'AGGRESSIVE CUDDLING TIME!!!'

8 years ago | Likes 339 Dislikes 0

Elephant: I consider you a threat People: Ohh fuck

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Aaaaahm gonna gitcha! AAAAAHM GONNA GITCHA!"

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why did they run away?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Must! Cuddle!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even Elephants have cute aggression.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just turn around an drive off - "abort mission! I repeat: abort mission now" - better lay down my bike carefully, though.

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

STOMP THE PUPPIES!

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Struggle snuggle

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

HA-HA-HA-HAH!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

“Let’s ditch the bike, I’m pretty sure we are faster running”

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

It's faster than slowly turning the bike around

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Clutch in, gas on, lean, clutch out and you find yourself the other way round

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Not like you can't turn it fast.. That is just amateur driver.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

And therefore some would say he made the right choice according to his skill and knowledge.
