#1 quite a lot of cheating going on especially with the cyber monster truck. By tying the rope high it lifts the other vehicle and give the higher vehicle more traction. Plenty of videos of rednecks in lifted trucks doing such to semi trucks when they'd have zero chance if the semi had weight on its axles

My first thought was that some are built for speed, and some are built for traction or power, so they're kind of meaningless comparisons.
