Q: How does one become a porn star? Did you wake up one morning and think "Huh, I guess I'll do porn today," or were you approached by someone wanting you to do it?

A: My mom is actually a porn star and I couldn't find work when I first moved to Orlando for college. So she got me in touch with some people who could get things rolling so to speak. lol

Q: What made you quit?

A: I quit because it was kind of hard to meet women that would date a porn star, and at the time I was interested in dating.

Q: What kind did you do? Are the stereotypes regarding the industry (STDs, abuse, non-payment, etc.) true?

A: I did a long list of things. I did my own stuff and filmed others (mostly girl on girl, and no I didn't take part in those lol). I've done a few others like water fetish and other sorts of fetish work.

The images of abuse, STDs and non-payment are stereotypes for a reason, they do sadly happen. Those are mainly issues in other places. The more professional settings in the porn industry are actually very safe and casual. Everyone jokes and bullshits, no one is pressured into doing things they don't want to do.

In the proper work environments everyone is required to get tested and present said current tests before any filming if there is a chance of STDs being traded (which is usually the case).

Q: What were some of your favorite and least favorite things that you did in porn? And you say ex so I'm curious what you do now (I presume the programming) and how you got out of it. Do you miss it?

A: Hmm, I think my favorite were the ones where I wasn't being tickled. I am HORRIBLY ticklish and when I get tickled I squeal like a 5 year old girl. Though, I guess that's a boring answer. So, besides that I'd have to say the one time a girl who was part of the film made certain body part shaped cookies for the lulz. They even had frosting in the most special of places. I nearly died before I could eat one.

As for my least favorite, usually outside filming because it's Florida so it's all mosquitos and sweaty body parts. blegh

I'm actually a computer nerd in general, I've been programming since I was 13-14 and I want NOTHING more in the world than to work for Google. I'm still trying to land my first job AS a programmer, but Florida doesn't seem to have a single entry level job for someone without a degree.

Q: Who is your mom?

A: Amber Lynn Bach (FOR SCIENCE)

Q: What was your name?

A: Haha! Good luck getting him to tell you this. His mom doesn’t know it, his best friend doesn’t know it, and I sure as hell don’t know it. lol

Q: Would you go back?

A: I have considered it on and off, though, I just don't have the drive or desire to be in that line of work anymore. I really want to be a programmer and I fear if I get into that work I would get distracted by the current money and not my future at a dream job like Google.

Q: Is everyone who does porn a "star"?

A: I've never considered any other real name, though, adult film star would also apply. I just use porn star.

Q: I have heard a rumor that most males in the industry have to start out in gay porn before they can move on. Is that true, or am I just being lied to?

A: THAT Ben is a great question and is honestly not so much a lie as an exaggeration. As you can imagine, the average guy would love to do porn (let’s face it, there is worse work out there). BUT doing gay porn is a sure fire way to get in. My mother's got a close friend who identifies as straight but started in gay porn and only received certain things from other mean orally. He's a director now. The funny thing is, in the gay films he became well known and was making well over $2,000 for an appearance. He went from those to straight porn and picked up typically half that much. Of course directing he now makes way more.

Q: At what age did you start?

A: Between 19 and 21

Q: How do girls you're interested in, initially react when you tell them you've done porn?

A: A few did laugh and ask their own questions it always ended in a failed date, though, a friendship wasn't usually out of the question, because I am so weird I guess?

Q: Can I ask if you made any friends in the industry that are still friends to this day?

A: I've made a lot of friends in general. So while I'm still friendly to them it's been a hot minute since I talked to them. The only one left is a girl who's a single mom now, who appeared in a few of my own shoots I did with another female friend of ours.

Q: What's it like having a porn star for a mom? Have other people ever been nasty to you or derogatory toward her for it? What would you say is that ratio of genuine orgasms to fake ones?

A: My friends found out about my mom while we were all in high school. So I had some teasing for years for that, but I've always been picked on as a kid. So it rolls off pretty easily.

No one's been nasty or derogatory though thankfully. Having her as a mom is, interesting I suppose. We're more like friends in a lot of ways. She's a single mother and now has an 8 year old to raise (my half-sister who's just the most adorable little brat). She's doing a lot better with my sister than she did with me, though, I was a much worse child.

My mom is the kind of mom who tells me, "Man, I'm going to need an ice pack after this trip to Cancun." lol And she loves shows like Big Bang Theory and she actually got paid by Marvel to cosplay as the White Witch. So I was super jealous of her on that one. She's led a pretty exciting life compared to me watching anime all day in my boxers working on games and mods xD

Q: Do you take any kind of supplements before going into a scene?

A: I usually drink AMPs, but that's because they're tasty. Otherwise there isn't a single thing short of exercises and surgery that make you bigger in the nether regions. Even the exercises only help with a smidge of girth and nothing of length.

Q: Do you think doing porn has taught you to be a better sexual partner? Techniques and what not... and if so, what’s up? You free this weekend?

A: I'd say I didn't pick up a lot from porn. It was more so just my fetishes that I have, that made me extra attentive. I've got a big beef (pun TOTALLY intended) with women enjoying their sexuality. No one should have bad sex, it's like bad pizza, it shouldn't happen. Therefore I always try to ask what someone likes, introduce them to new things and in general make sure it's a fun thing for them to look forward to.

Porn I think can be damaging because I hear of so many guys from my female friends saying how the guys will get off and just roll over and nap or something equally sad. Which is a womp womp because I have so many guy friends who personally espouse doing very much not that to the ladies they date

TL;DR First 15 q's for AMA. Amber Lynn Bach

Puppy Break!

Q: How does it feel to know that thousands of strangers all around the world look at you and your mom on the internet daily for their personal pleasure?

A: I see it as just another job. If anything we make people happy.

Q: How common is it to have some kind of pretty woman (never kiss on the lips) rule? Have you ever met someone and they figured out you were in a movie they had seen?

A: Thankfully people don't recall male actors in porn or that'd be super awkward. But I've met a few ladies who had the don't kiss rule and I totally understand. I've always separated sex and emotions before I was even in porn. As for how common it is, I'd say honestly not very common. Having a stable honest relationship is hard enough and most people aren't ready for dating someone that's in porn

Q: Have you ever felt awkward after any scenes or have any embarrassing stories?

A: I'd have to say that I still laugh at farts and I've had a few girls squeeze them out on me and get SUPER embarrassed which is hilarious, but there was this one time. I too farted and it was with a girl who'd done so before and I teased about it. She jumped at her chance and never let it down for the whole day. Called me Assblast among many things. I had that coming. I've also busted my ass in some scenes with the weird postures you have to stand in, certainly my least graceful moments ever.

Q: Ex porn star? Is it awkward with the cameras?

A: It is actually awkward for me EVERY time I'm in front of a camera even when it's not porn. I am not sure how I did anything ever.

Q: What did you think of the female porn stars having fake nails, tans, boobs, lashes, thick layer of makeup? Or did you have more natural looking work buddies?

A: I had the more natural looking ladies. I don't like to work with someone and be scared shit will get caked up on me (no offense to those makeup lovers) but makeup in excess in porn makes little sense to me. I prefer the natural appearance of people in all aspects of life.

Q: How do you feel about the porn industry moving to HD video? More pressure on you?

A: As far as HD goes, I never felt too worried. I think that after a while you stop caring. It's slightly different than positive body image though. Believe it or not I don't feel sex in the least, and I've been working out a lot (when it isn't hot as shit) to get back in shape as I put on about 12 lb on this here stomach area that need to be gone haha. Even still I wouldn't be worried, women might feel more pressured to be thin since they're the ones we desire and check out typically in straight porn. In that sense I feel bad if they do feel that pressure because everyone has a right to feel confident about what they're working with. So I'd say the pressure is there for women but not so much men or perhaps to a much lesser degree.

Q: What about the pressure to be well endowed?

A: I feel like the need to be well endowed is interesting. The biggest names in porn do at times have a bigger package, but most guys I know work with regular gear in an average range. The big thing (pun intended) to remember is that as long as your partner walks away satisfied that's all you've got to measure up (dammit again) to.

I'm blessed to have what statistics say is an above the average length, though I wasn't hired for that they do want people who are at least average if not larger. I have met the guys with the massive packages an almost every girl I've talked to says they're not actually enjoying those, they're in pain so I like what genetics has given me

Q: Are you polishing any katanas in any of the videos?

A: That katana is actually next to me still. It is the one I was given by my teacher, I've practiced kendo for close to 14-15 years now I think. It's honestly one of my two most prized possessions.

Q: Is the rule of 8's a real thing?

A: Rule of 8's is something hilarious and very untrue. There are 3 parts to it.

1. You must be able to have sex for a minimum of 88 minutes without blowing your load.

2. You must live in an area code beginning with an 8 (I believe it's because in Hollywood the area around it is an 8 to start but I don't recall).

3. You have to be packing at least 8 inches or supposedly the camera won't magically see it. Mean ass cameras. (P.S. there are camera tricks to make us look well-endowed)

Q: Without revealing your identity, who is your favorite actress to work with?

A: That's actually hard to say as all of the girls in my work were either actual friends of mine beforehand and got started because of me, or they don't even have a stage name and have done only low key things. BUT I do know if I had a chance to pick someone out I'd say there are a number of girls I'd work with, I've got an especially soft spot (I really can't stop with the puns) for girls with wild hair colors and lots of tattoos. A handful of ladies who appear on Suicide Girls are especially attractive and I've heard nice things about them as well. For me it's all about who I can tolerate as I'm really open and honest with virtually everything about myself. I think besides my name there isn't much I keep secret anymore.

Q: Do guys in the industry ever compare size?

A: It depends on the guys. Some of us joke around and don't give a shit and do that. While others are so worried about how others perceive them they won't even be near other guys. Those are usually your newbies or your ‘pro bros’ as we called them. The guys who do their business, get dressed, then leave. They don't socialize for squat.

Q: So what are these tricks you speak of for more endurance? And how has no one asked that yet?

A: Well most guys I know make the mistake of trying to think of something else while having sex to avoid that issue, it actually makes it worse. Kind of like trying to be on a diet and not thinking about pizza. You'll fail. It's pizza.

One tip I got from another guy was it's all about positioning, certain positions feel far better than others. If you're looking to wow and go the distance for a lady who wants you to hit that 88 minute mark (:P) then make those position changes more often. It extends the time and it's a variety of sensations that gives your good a brief break and helps a ton for most people I know.

Another thing to never underplay is foreplay to break up the main action in between. A solid balance of the two keeps things going and makes it all snowball into awesomeness. Always ask what your partner is into or wants!

Some more distracting sensations that won't turn you off also help a lot of guys I know. For myself and some others a few strokes of the family jewels seems to be a magic ticket to going longer though I can't begin to fathom why as I enjoy human anatomy classes, I'm not quite that clever to know why it works.

Q: Is it actually fun/enjoyable?

A: Well, all the people I've talked to enjoyed it while it lasted. Those who quit had their reasons, but it's been rare that I've met someone who regretted it fully.

While I had some misgivings about it, they were because I was struggling to discover who I was, I had started out of a need for money because I couldn't find a decent job. Minimum wage in Florida as anyone knows just like most places isn't enough for college. I had no car, no help from my mother and my father hadn't spoken to me in years (still hasn't). I had just broken up with my fiancée, we'd been together for almost 5 years.

It took a lot of self-exploring (seriously, how do I keep doing this?) to figure out who I was at my very core, I'm still searching in many regards and I always will I suspect. I'm glad for everything I've been through, even the shitty parts.

Porn was just one of many stepping stones and it helped me realize who I am in regards to my sexuality, it made me come to terms with being ok with the idea of multiple partners and being non-monogamous.

TLDR; 9.5/10 it was great and I'd recommend it to anyone who is curious enough to try. Also got way deeper than I planned on haha

Q: Have you ever gotten an std from working?

A: Thankfully no I haven't as protection is a huge concern among everyone for obvious reasons. Though I got this weird infection my family jewels once from the must weird source. 7 people in the house I lived had the flu all at once and I never caught it, turns out you can get an infection in your skin down there for guys and it'll swell like no one's business. Horrible pain, bad times. Wouldn't repeat. Now I fear people who have the flu.

TL;DR BF did minor porn work. Sex. Sex Sex.
