It looks like a queue ticket dispenser, but the ticket looks like some sort of coupon, any one care to explain?
They used to have these in the isles of grocery stores and they held coupons. If you pull one out, it would push another one forward.
Doesn't that kinda defeat the whole coupon idea? Coupons were illegal in my country until a few years ago.

Denmark, they become legal about 5-10 years ago by now, but both the two dominating players on the market aren't too keen on them.
Interesting! It's more of a promotional thing here in the U.S.; companies wanna push a particular item so they get the consumer's attention.
