Just a reminder While science is desperately trying to save our bees...

Trump is taking "donations" to reverse EPA bans.

There is so much unethical shit happening with this administration that a lot of this stuff just gets crowded out by other news.

Here's what was going on that news cycle: https://imgur.com/FOrAjq8

Poison well fallacy. Has nothing to do with Nazis. Apis mellifera is not remotely threatened with extinction. Read a book people.

You know what else Nazis invented? The method one acting clinic, where actors such as the famous Tobias Funke learned improv.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

And our public school system is based on the one the nazis put in place when they took power.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nazi chemicals! Like the devious h2o.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

It's even in bread! Fucking bread!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well shit I use that a lot in the summer

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

Mentioning that it was Nazi created is called a poisoned well fallacy and has no bearing on the use of the chemical.

8 years ago | Likes 191 Dislikes 10

Well that they believed they were using eugenics did poison the very concept for all of time. (They didn't understand biology at all.)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

That's correct. The reason for the EPA proposing the ban is however very relevant

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

if we're going to damn things based on Nazi roots, then fuck Volkswagen. BAN VOLKSWAGEN!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

*Set to be banned, not enforced yet. The baggage fee disclosure was rule was a proposal, as was the mortgage relief. None of these were 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

passed by Obama, just proposed on his way out the door. Remember that. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I smell propaganda.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 7

Stop using Snopes as a "truth" detector. They started out with good intentions, but have now grown to pushing ideological agendas and lies

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 4

Founding members of NASA were Nazi's so...

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 5

Trump is worth a lot. $1m is not a lot to him. I'm not sure he could be bribed so easily?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Pretty sure you could bribe him with just a cheeseburger.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Snopes went off the rails the past couple years

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 6

1 mil is nothing to trump

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Volkswagen is a german company too

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 6

Yes, except Hitler really did aid the development of the VW.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And trust me my Grandmother would never even be a passenger in a volkswagen.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

on top of that they made Nazi tanks too.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Texaco oil literally violated US law and gave substantial, direct material aid to help the fascist Franco regime win the Spanish Civil War.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Didn't IBM make the machines that helped the Germans ID all the Jews, Gypsys, and other minorities?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bullshit. You'd probably tell me my flammenwerfer is German, too.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

or that germany is german! /s

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Look, can we all lay off of Hitler for a while? Yes, the man did some bad stuff, but he killed Hitler! Doesn't that count for something?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Ah, that Hitler guy. You know, the more I hear from him, the less I care about him" - Norm Macdonald.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And didn't VW get caught gassing people in the last few years?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They're on emission from god!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People aren't getting your joke but I do +1

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks, I thought it was obvious but we live in a crazy world where people can be immersed in information yet refuse to learn new things.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is what people consider news these days. An “article” that is legal because it’s phrased as a question, with a Chelsea Handler tweet 1/

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

As the substance. To quote Dave Chappell “Can somebody please find Ja Rule so I can make some sense of all this”

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's actually a lot of substance in the article. https://www.snopes.com/trump-reverses-insecticide-ban-dow-chemicals/

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You’re depending on people to actually read the article, vs making an opinion they’ll run with just off a headline tease

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

snopes is so unreliable. the staff is politically biased.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I see no evidence tho. So either the person who tweeted it is retarded or lying

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Why wasn't it banned earlier?

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

Science takes time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Because it's not especially dangerous relative to other insecticides. There's just been a regulatory creep against all pesticides as of late

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Believing Snopes about a Trump thing is like believing InfoWars about an Obama thing.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Look up Fritz Haber

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"This administration" lol. Every administration does this but you just want to Trump bash. Ok.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I too came from nazis. Fear me.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Am German. Y'all scared yet?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Just one million? I mean, he shouldn't be taking bribes, but he especially shouldn't be taking bribes that small about such a big deal.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

I think this mean you can't trust snopes

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Why would Trump give a shit about $1 million?

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 5

B/c he'll never have enough money so long as he knows there are men who have more than he has. That's also why he lies about his net worth.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Sounds like you personally know him

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every tiny-dicked asshole w/ family money & no sense of personal integrity is just like the next one; live long enough, you'll see.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For reference: Cyclon B, the gas they used in Auschwitz, was produced and sold in germany until the early '00 years...

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

Zyklon* actually. also, iirc, that was just used as a pesticide in it's first from. then Zyklon B was made for the gas chambers.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As a delousing agent, which is what it's *supposed* to be used for.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is a joke in there...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We've already had a laugh at fruits and vegetables. Lets not.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Zyklon B?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Industry requires chemicals. Some are deadly if inhaled. You should not inhale them and industry should store them safely. End of story.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

*certain* politicians disagree on the need to store them safely, to costly to businesses so it's unnecessary.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Lol those "organic" brake pads? Most of your homes wall textures? Adhesive for linoleum? Asbestos

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea, exactly. Company I worked for made children's products, all certified as non-toxic. But like anything, dose matters. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just because end product was non-toxic doesn't mean barrels of the component chemicals should be eaten.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wonder if there is a snopes for snopes? Guys, I don't think we can trust them.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Trump wouldn't take a million dollar bribe. He had 7,000 million dollars.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

While I can appreciate the safety concerns, there's a lot of useful technology that was developed by the Nazis.

8 years ago | Likes 630 Dislikes 23

Bayer(as part of a larger conglomerate to be fair) and volkswagon as well.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They made terrible showers

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

“Walk into NASA sometime and yell "Heil Hitler" WOOP they all jump straight up!” - Malory Archer

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

the finger-----the moon

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Though their pesticides don't have a good track record.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

There is a great joke to be made here... but what would it be...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

IIRC Most of our knowledge of natural (but dangerous) afflictions like hypothermia came from nazis because they researched on actual people.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And the Japanese. They also had POW camps where they killed people in the most cruel way possible for science. Google "Unit 731" and read.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I remember a story where nazis would tie jewish women's legs together while they were in labor :(

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, humans are the most cruel animal on this planet and always will be.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nazis were great at science, bad with cooking.

8 years ago | Likes 184 Dislikes 4

Oh, you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They were idiots with lots of science though. They completely misunderstood basic biology.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I dunno they were awfully good at making people toast. I heard it gave a lot of people gas though.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hans! Get ze Gulaschkanone!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Gulaschkanone is sekond only to ze StewGewer-44.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But nothing without a freshly baked Brotgun to dunk into it. (Btw, "Gulaschkanone" is an actual word.)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well to be fair, all the decently sized ovens were all in use during that time.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Soooo dark you've gotta laugh....little addition- when did Hitler commit suicide????---when he saw he gas bill

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Take my upvote, you little shit. I snorted.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

You gonna share what you snorted?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If he's in a Nazi kitchen it might have been Jew ashes.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see someone's been playing cards against humanity

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, like jet engines.

8 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 3

And ovens

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

The Brit’s invented the jet engine. The Germans had superior alloys to withstand the heat and hence brought forth the modern jet engine.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

It was invented by Frank Whittle for anyone wondering, another largely underappreciated engineering hero of the war.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

High Altitude suits, Rocketry, Cold Weather Gear,Jerry Can,Night Vision gear. Not supporting them at all but just bringing up some of them.

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Ovens

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

You don't support rocketry?

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Hullo!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

...it's Scott Manley, and today we're not supporting rocketry in Kerbal Space Program.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jerry cans had to be invented?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Well, someone had to do it... https://lmgtfy.com/?q=Jerry+Can+Etymology

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They came up with a design that didn't suck. Previous designs tended to suck pretty badly. The history is kinda interesting.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Let's spray him with this product.

8 years ago | Likes 241 Dislikes 88

What do you think turned him orange?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

Might make him more orange

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 6

Pretty sure he already has brain damage

8 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 15

Apparently, all the brain function you need as president is to identify a rhino and have a memory that lasts longer than 10 minutes.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Let's check the sources and actually think for ourselves before we jump to conclusions and settle on violent actions

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

It's not violent, the product is safe.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Depends on the dose...can you eat 50 tubes of toothpaste is one sitting and feel fine? No. Can you safely brush your teeth? Yes.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But we already lit our torches...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah, pretty sure you're on a list now...

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 1

Why trump says the chemical is safe it's just a harmless chemical fight

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I volunteer to take his place. I'll spray instead.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Fun fact, the words A, And, and I are on the list that decided if you can be recorded having a conversation

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

That's why this guy never uses those words.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How do you know this?

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Google CIA tracked words, those 3 are off the list but there is 377 words that lead to you being recorded

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But the emails...

8 years ago | Likes 160 Dislikes 77

But the nazis...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

But Bernie

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

Clearly she was the more corrupt one

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 27

"Trump is [insert 50 awful characteristics for a president]!!" - "Yeah but Hillary is corrupt!" - "TRUMP IS ALSO CORRUPT."

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

Can’t tell if sarcasm or idiocy. It’s all blended together so closely now.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 9

It was in fact sarcasm

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought so. That’s why I upvoted lol.
