Everyday I see here in Europe i go... aren´t US police/law enforcment officer supposed to get/have 2 weeks training/education and then shadow an senior officer for 2 month or something before they are allowed to make calls?
Because what I see is Cops whit less understanding of the law then a 12 year old that watched the 1970-1998 Batman and other Saturday morning cartons and base on that.

The Supreme Court is partly responsible for that. They've ruled that police are not required to know the law they are authorized to enforce (but ordinary people are, under the doctrine of "ingorance of the law is no excuse").
