Like a Dylan lyric: "I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes. And just for that one moment, I could be you. Yes, I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes. You’d know what a drag it is to see you."

"I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes and, just for that one moment, I could be you. Yes, I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes ... you’d know what a drag it is to see you." Bob Dylan, 'Positively 4th Street,' 1965

[NSFW] @TheUrbanShaman Here's your (experimental extra) drawing of a "dead mom pizza club in yhe style of the show Cheers, in style of Kelly Vivanco, in a tropical island, with palm trees, white sand beaches, and crystal-clear waters, tiki torches, hammocks, and outrigger canoes"

Ah yes, the street version of the Robert Burns poem "To A Louse" :
"Oh, would some Power the gift give us
To see ourselves as others see us!
It would from many a blunder free us..."

I feel it should be mandatory for people to take classes on morals and ethics growing up. Maybe then there would be less cunty people

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Assholes believe they are acting ethically and morally. The worlds religions are filled with self-righteous assholes.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It'd be easier to make working in the service industry mandatory for a few years.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No see, I know plenty of people who worked in retail and Believe it should be hard, so while they hate customers doing it to them, they do it to others immediately after. This wouldn't solve it cus it already doesn't. If you're a cunt you'll stay one until truly humbled by some loss in your life.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We're sort of trying that in my country and let's just say it's revealed a sharp divide in what everyone believes ethical and moral truth really is.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Which country?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Canada

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

While I agree with the sentiment, there isn't enough societal agreement on what is moral and ethical.

I feel like establishing that it's ok to be different, and it's not ok to force our views and beliefs on other people would be a good start

I've worked in three fairly large school districts that have "social-emotional development" curriculum for K-5. The lessons teach how to deal with feelings, solve problems with others, etc
