It's not a full on success story yet, but it's nice to finally start seeing some results after struggling for so long.

Don't give up!

Keep it up. I did the same starting in January. I'm down 34 lbs in 6 months. It's not amazing, but it's sustainable.

It's a good day when David Tennant claps for you, even if it is in gif form.

Good job. Simply having muscle burns calories, so strength training is a good idea. Cardio means breathing heavy for extended periods.

Thanks! I know, I've worked out most of my life. I actually competitively swam for 10 years. I just need to adjust my diet really.

Kill the carbs, if you can pull of keto, give it a couple months and watch the lbs melt awat

Yeah, carbs are killer. I've just been keeping track of macros which seems to be working and a sustainable solution.

Don't do keto OP. Only people who don't know wtf they're talking about will suggest keto or any other diet that has a name for that matter.

I looked into some of those, and most just seemed too drastic and unsustainable. I seem to be doing something right so far though!

Did you basically just stop pigging out and start exercising regularly? That's a massive first step.
