Go bigger then?

Of COURSE it was! This is the way it works, and it means you're doing it correctly.
The GOOD news is, due to forgetting previous times, you've already learned the necessary skills to choose the wrong bag for the job and make it work. ; )

I'm guessing it is the medium. They are harder to find.

I like getting bigger ones just so once it fills up I can grab whatever else is around that can be thrown out of round up trash from smaller bins and bag them all up together. Also less likely to rip.

That has to be a sign of getting old. I even find myself pulling weeds out of the lawn nowadays, this is your future.

I always get the next size up, easier to remove and tie up afterwards

Get mega oversized bags, then pile the trash 2-3 feet above edge of can, then (when you finally decide not to be lazy) pull bag up over your epic trash tower, and haul it downstairs :P

Thank you. This is the first time in a long while that I've seen this meme format used for something other than a sob story. Refreshing.

Amazon subscription for my weird 40L trash can

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I need a new trash can and I plan to take a bag with me to make sure it fits to my liking. Kitchen can is too tall and the bag sinks if the garbage is too heavy. Garage can is too short and there is a collar of unused bag once the can is full. It's like hot dogs vs buns. Damned conspiracy.

It's always 13 gallon. Unless you have a big ass industrial type can. Then it's 50

You can probably find a lawn bag that'll work.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Went to buy the correct size, saw the larger size was cheaper and bought them. Made the whole exercise a bit moot.

It’s like raaaaaaaaain!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like going one size over

We call that "getting Walmarted"

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let me guess, 13 gallon bags?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did the same with mango chutney the other day.

Amazon subscription.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I buy larger-than-necessary because they're cheaper. They still work.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The store could realize they sell more of those bags, right? No, they'll just do their monthly purchases and overstock on the products nobody really wants but grudgingly buy because the right product is sold out.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I have a 24 gallon bin. Only sizes the store sells are 13 and 33.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel you. I have a 20 gallon, and they don't sell them at any store anymore

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Wut, always get the biggest bag available. I don't want a bag that as soon as I notice it's full is already too full to be closed. I want a bag that when I notice the bin is full, I can pull the edges up and look! There's more room to put the trash from the living room and the bathroom and still can be tied off with no trouble

I mean, yes but there are limits. I don't want a 40+ gallon bag in my 4-8 gallon trash bin, that's just overkill. Getting the next size up is generally fine though.

American measurements are like gay sex, I've heard about it and believes it works, but I'm not sure how. It's definitely weird.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Of course the one that fit are the only one thats sold out. Why would peple buy trash bags that do not fit? That seems waste full.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Get a new trash bin based on the best bags available. The best sizes, best prices, and always available. Get the bin for those bags!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Shop at Costco to buy the cheapest, highest quality trash bags with enough quantity to last you a year

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

buy another bin!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You need to do a series of posts on adulting

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have other gems like: buy 100 pairs of same colored socks. Losing one is meaningless now.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah you need to do a post.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The best bags with the best price will always be sold out(because everyone wants them). The best price with the most available will be terrible(bc they're so cheap). The best quality with the most availability will be terribly expensive(otherwise everyone else would get them too).

Good, available, cheap; pick two?
