I didn't believe in "sea legs" until I saw my wife try to walk on my boat.

The log looks like it would be easy to get the swing of it.

Two reposts bundled into one? That's efficiency.

These are not the same thing at all. Left is a swaying flat platform. Right is a 100% free moving (and rotating) barrel.

Dude on the left has had experience after closing time

Or, like, practice and stuff

For the one on the left its all about finding the rhythm.

The guy on the left has the right idea. Instead of absorbing the ever increasing force, he pretty much glides over the surface

The secret is that the second guy on the barrels is hammered drunk just trying to get home. Has no idea he’s going thru an obstacle course

The center is the easiest spot to be, less motion and more center of gravity.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And he's the one making it move, so...

It starts with a balanced breakfast...

Its hard to tell with the lack of pixels, but It feels like the guy on the left is added in digitally. Something seems off with it

Well now that you mention it

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Your brain doesn't really process people moving on a constantly shifting platform very well.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Shit now i need to know!!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's how good he is

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, several times he appears to be defying gravity. I think i agree with you

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I'm pretty sure he's at work. That is his job.

When it was originally posted it was a different guy, looks like they just swapped out face or upper body? Was doin it for real though

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Hm, on second thought maybe it is the same guy. I didn’t remember the hat

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw it with pixels. Seemed real but im blind so take it with a pinch in the ass

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

"Take it with a pinch in the ass" - I'm acquiring this for myself. It's mine now. Thank you.

Agree. Call in the geeks.

But... we ARE the geeks?!

You mean at the beginning when he bumps the person in red and they don’t respond or at the end when he steps off the platform?

7 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 7

He really isn't that close to the lady and he is pretty clearly on the black portion of the bridge at the end of the gif.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He doesn't quite touch the lady in red, and his foot is only half-off the boards at the end, he's still got his toes on the planks.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

It isn't even half off. It is fully on. Their is an edge of the platform that is all black and is actually fairly wide.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think he's for real. You can see the floorboards bending and shadows under his feet. His bright white shirt makes him stand out oddly.

7 years ago | Likes 106 Dislikes 1

Couple that with how he is using his legs to smooth out his torsos movement and its uncanny at low resolution

7 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Plus the video is almost naturally stabilized around him. A true testament to his technique.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

the edges of his feet seem to clip out in spots, the boards don't really appear to move under him, and there's a few spots where it looks

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

like gravity would just sit him right down. his shirt definitely does make him stand out, but he also appears to be in a different quality

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

of recording than the rest of the video. i mean, i'm not sure, i'd like to see a higher quality, but it looks really iffy.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It the original video it looks totally natural. I bet it’s just something to do with rendering and editing and posting
