My first car! It had seen a few seasons before I bought it.

My second car! The first Ka had some great parts but the shell had some serious rust, luckily the body shop that were reprinting the car had a much cleaner shell with a lower mileage engine for very little money.

Turns out getting a non-rolling shell onto a trailer from gravel is more than a bit difficult.

Freshly painted.

Starting to come together.

Door squares and name on the window make it a bit easier to convince people it really is a race car.

First event, came 3rd

Also crashed into a pile of dirt built up on the outside of a tight corner. Broke the first of many driveshafts and first of 2 gearbox mounts.

If you're going to crash, might as well do it in style.

First bit of battle damage.

Ken who?

Shout out to the many photographers who turned up each round. They took cracking photos all year.

I definitely felt better driving on grass rather than stubble fields, I got second on this event.

Unfortunately mechanical gremlins in the fuel system meant I spent longer than I would have liked on the end of a tow rope.

Had some great battles.

I love how the colour turned out, but it looked especially good when we had a lot of cloud cover.

Digging to China. The final round had some mega deep ruts.

The car ran faultlessly by the end of the season, in 9 rounds I got 4 podiums with my best finish being second. Unfortunately I had one DNF so didn't pick up any points one round and had one or two rounds with only two heats completed. Overall I came 4th out of 8 in the championship.

Pretty sure that's actually Rallycross.
