This is an old picture of Pabu and I, one that I hold dear to my heart.

I've been missing him a lot these days and cried a lot last night. But I know this is just a part of life. When you truly, genuinely loved someone so much, their absence leaves an ache that is soul deep.

I'm doing better than I was when he first crossed the rainbow bridge.

He has a spot by the window, where his urn sits. ( He loved window watching in his old age. )

I just wanted to give a small update and tell the souls out there going through something similar, you're doing great love. Celebrate the moments you have with your little furry friend and remember to take time to let yourself heal.

It does get easier.
