I get they are in space and weightless etc . . . But someone please explain to me why the flags are not going up, like her hair and the cables etc etc etc . .

Things that can bump together tend to push eachother away, ex. causing hair to poof out. Individual objects don't do that.

Because of how they're strung up. String running along the top and bottom not just hanging.
