But not this wonderful human that found and mailed me the wallet I lost last month. Nothing was missing, cash or gift card, faith in humanity restored. Going to order them a pizza party, this is amazing.

Lost a wallet in NYC with $87 and all other stuff. Got it in mail with all the money, anonymous note with no return address.

My friend returned a wallet. The only cash missing was what it took to mail it, figured the owner could foot the bill for that.

I found a wallet a few years ago so i took it with me and looked up the owner and called him. 20 min later a teen came by my house with 1/2

I found a dudes phone at work once. Texted a contact to try to get ahold of them. Dude called and said I'd stolen it. I chucked it in a lake

So no lie I've lost my wallet thrice (yes I'm a disaster) and it's been mailed back in full every time. +3 humanity.

How nice of you to shield your address and identity, but not the kind person who returned your wallet's...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

found a bag full of money and id, gave it authorities. heard thru a friend ten years later who is in police force that they took the money

I thought someone peed on your bed.

I was home on leave once and left my wallet, US and German license, military ID and credit cards. It was found and returned intact! +1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Had the opposite last month, charged up all credit cards and attempted to steal my identity.....so humans can still suck

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone who lost their wallet in the ghetto of LA yesterday & got it returned completely intact, I feel you. Thanks for the idea!

Jewish family returned my tablet that got misplaced while running around. They refused a tip!

Turned in a while pocket book full of crap once. I didn't really look at it just handed to authorities. Good deeds are their own reward

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

However, I have had the opposite happen to new. They took everything and the wallet was found in the trash. Oh well

someone did this with my brother's drivers license when he lost it in france. she took it back with her to texas and mailed it to us. 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

before this, my brother was trying to figure out how to explain how he lost his license to my parents, when they asked him if he had 2/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lost it. he said yes, sounding miserable. they then told him that someone had mailed it back to my parent's house. he was astounded! 3/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

he sent a thank you note to the woman who found it and sent it from texas. when he got home, he got his license back. 4/4

I lost a pager years ago and when the person that found it called me back, they tried to wrangle money out of me. I reported it stolen.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well duh. You're from Texas. People always looking for a shakedown in Texas. I would know, I was born there ;)

That chiropractor's got your back

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I mailed someone their phone back. Got a thank you card in return. :) Just wanted to return the phone.

9 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

I found a phone on the floor two days ago. Looked for "Dad" or "Mom" in its contacts and managed to return it to them

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just incase, I'd cancel the credit cards. Sometimes they do that, so u think ur good; then in 5 months you get a crazy online purchase bill.

9 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 2

in the time it takes a package to arrive, I would've already cancelled all of my cards, personally.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I know that's pessimistic, but better safe than sorry. Still tell them thanks and stuff. They might actually be nice people.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

"I never bought these 18 inch black dildos!"

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Sir, they were mailed to your door...you needed to sign the package...this is your signature...i can see them on your kitchen table FFS

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yah i did, expected the worst

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

I did that for someone once. It turned out it was a kid's wallet and they were really attached to it. The parents bought me chinese food! :)

9 years ago | Likes 495 Dislikes 1

I'm pretty attached to my wallet, too.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The world needs more ppl like you guys

9 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

I did some good deeds recently, both ended up being to my detriment. The world does not always reward good deeds... but it isn't about 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Rewards or getting caught for doing wrong. It's about integrity and trying to be a genuinely good person as a principal. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I often steal people's wallets and then return them in hope for reward. It seems better than stealing.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You are a great man.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tried to do this once. Found a wallet, was otw to where I was going so figured I'd detour. Address was old & new tenants had no clue.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

none of the credit cards or contacts in the wallet would help, which I get, but after 4 hrs trying to track the guy and got nowhere

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Attached? How didn't you notice the kid like right away?

I went out of my way to return a guy's wallet... He checked it In front of me and said "yep looks like it's all here" and walked away.

9 years ago | Likes 288 Dislikes 2

I appreciate you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That guy was a dick.

Eww

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I found a guys wallet in a bush once he checked it and threatened to call the police because he thought I took from it. I hadn't.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wow, fuck that guy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still, good on you for returning it.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Chaotic good

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not going to lie I did that. But nicely, thanked him. I was poor. I had nothing to give him. He also held it and wouldn't return it

9 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 2

I never expected anything for doing it other than a "thank you" and the guy didn't show any appreciation at all.

9 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 0

Thanks on behalf of all of us here. Never stop being a good person.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hence why he was a dick.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I found one belonging to the manager of a theater chain. He had several gift cards in there among his ID. He didn't even offer me one.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 18

Dont know why you get downvotery. +1 so its only -8

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Thanks. I guess some absolute moralists think it's sinful to even think about seeing a movie as a rewrd for returning a wallet with money 1/

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

...and Regal Cinemas company credit cards. Next time I'll not touch a found item and expect the same from my fellow hateful humans. 2/2
