Blue knows why they're there, and Blue knows it's not for third breakfast.

He passed. ?

“Look, lady, I did not sign up to be fat-shamed across the internet, okay?!?”

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

*this morbidly obese cat

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

We're out of sausage, Dave

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That owner should be charged with animal cruelty. It is their responsibility to look it

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think that cat goes beyond "Oh lawd he comin'!" He needs a new category called "How are you still alive?!"

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Jeezus! Looks like the Chershire Cat.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I love him, but I also want him to live longer.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This makes me so sad. It breaks my heart.

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Well it definitely didnt run away

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

... more like roll away! ?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So, at my conservatory there was a cat that was more obese than this one, never understood why they keep feeding her so much.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My cat wasn't even this fat when I adopted her, and she was still too fat to clean her own ass. This shit ain't cute at all

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Do you think he will be ok?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not sure, maybe if he can lose the weight. Last famous internet fat kitty I heard about died at the age of 4.. congestive heart failure.

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

I'm not sure if that leaping motion is realistic...

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Its a top down view of the cat on its side

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Make no mistake, that is absolutely animal abuse

Probably people who just want to enjoy the picture. It's a little bit of a buzz kill for me to say that. It still should be said though

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You’re my boy, Blue.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Poor baby. Hope he gets a good home soon.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

He's not a cute chubby flufferwuffer he is a victim of abuse and has a hard time coming to get back to normal.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The last famous "chonky cat" from the internet died of congestive heart failure at the age of 4. 4 years, that's it, that is unacceptable,

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To reduce your pets lifespan by at least 2/3rds? It's so sad, and the cat would be just as happy on a normal diet... probably happier...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those toe beans say it all.

4 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

I'm not a cat owner, but they look discolored. Are those stains, or indications of a disease?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I'm no expert on cat toe pad discoloration, but I'd reason that the toe pad colors are indiffenrt characteristics to the cat.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, toe beans can be different colors.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Oh lard, he coming

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That poor cat. How horrible.

4 years ago | Likes 792 Dislikes 23

Could you imagine if I walked up and said that about to you. Like right to your face.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 17

Cats arent people. Apples to oranges here. We also don't call people "good boy" or "good girl" because its condescending. But we do for cats

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And he looks so scared :(

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why don't we have the same reaction to fat kids and their parents that let them get that way?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We don't?

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Cat's gonna be ok. SPCA are good people. @OP, WE DEMAND UPDATE PICTURES!

4 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 2

Thank God, he’s back to a healthy life. v

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh hooray!

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

He’s not half the cat he used to be.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Bless you

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That obese is life threatening and kitty will get priority rehabilitation ASAP I'm sure. Poor fluff

4 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Problem with cat skin is it doesn't shrink after it's been stretched like human skin does. All that extra skin will need tucking surgery :(

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The "primordial pouch" of loose skin doesn't impair movement whatsoever nor cause any health issues - tummy tuck is human vanity.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And surgery is invasive & holds significant risk for complications. Kitty will still be beautiful & more healthy with swinging kittytitties

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're correct to an extent, but if the loose skin impairs the cat's ability to walk, drags on the floor it'll need tucking.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It reminds me of this "fat acceptance" group that had posters up at the university. Their mascot was some fat cat from the internet, and i

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Found it a bit strange, especially since that cat had died of congestive heart failure at the age of 4 YEARS OLD. Maybe undercutting your

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Message a bit there... their slogan was "fat kitty says 'there is no wrong way to have a body'". Sure I agree we shouldnt shame fat people,

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But teaching young people that they can be equally "healthy at any size" is kind of a harmful message in my opinion...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How can an owner do that to a pet?

4 years ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 7

*looks at own fat body* *cries*

4 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

The same way people do this to their children without meaning to I assume ...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My poor fat girl’s former human shared all his food with her. When he died his fam wanted to put her down. Said “my furry bowling ball now!”

Exhibit A: Ms Cartman

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They confuse love with food. It may very well be some lil old lady that kept feeding a crying cat and she love it so much.

4 years ago | Likes 138 Dislikes 1

This makes sense. Also applies to parents, especially with young kids

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it could be

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Also some cats are prone to become obese more rapidly than others. Just like humans.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Pizza.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pay

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love how people get so upset when it’s a pet but a child? Pfft disgusting ?‍♀️

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 14

Wouldn't call it disgusting though

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Letting a child become obese is abuse, too. Nobody is arguing otherwise.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know, but i guess my beef was that we care more about pets that children - sauce? Worked in pet industry college

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm interested in the literal how. My pet has access to food and isn't fat. Does it depend on the pet's personality? Type of food offered?

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

I've got cats. Used to free feed them just fine. Now with the new one they all started over eating. They all have a feeding schedule now

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably a combination of affects, including lack of physical activity. *looks at past self for the last 15 years* yep, definitely

4 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

My vet said most cats can self regulate eating but not all can. Having multiple cats makes food regulation harder, too.

4 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Both, plus the activity level

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even on strict diet food and complete cut off of human food Fat Girl is having trouble losing weight. Her joints hurt so she 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Isn’t as active as she should be. But she isn’t active so her joints hurt. It’s a bad cycle I’m still working on with her.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

One of my cats would be this big if we just left food out. She's a pig. It's a struggle to keep her a healthy weight because our other /1

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

cat wants to graze all day, so we're constantly putting his dish down and then picking it back up, but if you get distracted and forget /2

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

There is a feeder you can get that integrates with the cats chip so only certain cats can get food at certain times

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

to put it back up, fatty's right there gobbling it down. She lies in wait for it. And she's so quiet and sneaky to not attract attention. /3

YOU’RE MY BOY, BLUE! v

4 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 1

Didn’t turn out so well for him. Hope the cat does better.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The man died with two topless girls covered in lube. I hope I go like that.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

We all do.
