Super simple, bought a tele neck on sale and had the other hard ware, routed a neck pocket and pick up is wired direct to the jack. Sounds like every telecaster ever.

As long as the structure is rigid enough and pickups are in the same locations and roughly the same type it will sound like a Tele.

No just routed a pocket for the pick up and drilled a hole for a jack
