As a few of you already know, i make figures out of paper. And so i thought i keep posting some of my work.

I hate making decisions! Which side looks better? Left blank one or right lined one?

I would go for lined, but either way your work is awesome

No line, don't need to hold our eye's hand to find the figure, i think it stands out without.

Blank!

I think you could mix it up. It's something that is so structured a little bit abstract by incorporating lines in certain places

I say blank, it shows the shadows better

Blank. Let the natural shadows speak for themselves.

Why not half and half?

Left blank. The lines distract from the natural shading of the angles

Blank!

What software do you use?

Unlined, or try just marking the outward folds, not the concave ones, if that makes any sense.

Blank if you plan to use color, lines if white only.

Lines on the INSIDE. And a light that fades on and off.

It kinda depends on where you're displaying, if you have a light source that gives it high contrast I go with blank.

So far, I'm in the minority but I say blank. Easier for me to interpret the object without the lines.

Yeah the lines separates the natural contortion of the light and the depth it gives, without you can draw conclusions of the shapes easier

I agree. The polar bear head confused the fuck out of me until I looked at the unlined part

I vote blank too

From the straight on angle, I liked the lined, but from the side a prefer blank.

I think it depends on your want. With lines is more visually interesting but, much more abstract. Without likes in white is more [1/2]

[2/2] realistic but looks more realistic. The charcoal car looks great. All around great work either way.

Beautiful work! I like the blank better, the lines feel a little too busy

Half and half, just like you've done here.

I actually prefer the blank, lets the shadows stand out and make the shape x both ace though!

May I suggest lining in light blue ink?

On the thumbnail, the one without lines looks more obviously like a bear.
