Fans should crowdsource money tp produce the ending that GRRM actually writes.

They sucked the moment they ran out of runway when the books did. I blame GRRM just as much for dragging his ass too.

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

I’m not gonna blame a good fucking writer because they wanted to do the show and run it past the books before the books were finished.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I've got one word, NOTHING

6 years ago | Likes 308 Dislikes 0

They fucked up GOT so they could jump onto Disney's boat, and now they're off the project, GOT was ruined over NOTHING.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

They abandoned GOT like trash so they could cuddle up to Disney and now they're off the star wars project, so it was for NOTHING.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

Why would i watch it? Because it's on!

6 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Not yet!

Jerry, I’m so done with GOT, you can stick a fork in me!

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It should have been on the isle of faces and Bran channels the power of the children of the forrest to hold back the wights like the cave

6 years ago | Likes 247 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

so that it forces the night king to enter the battle himself to kill Bran and expose himself to attack.

6 years ago | Likes 135 Dislikes 1

Why weren't you the screenwriter?

6 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 1

Or anyone else really.

6 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

Season 8 was so bad it ruined the whole series for me, I can't even recommend it to someone who's not seen it before. Its gross

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Same

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hodor?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I heard those two guys got fired from Star Wars.

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

They left as they over committed themselves, they said. They got a huge deal with Netflix. So they went off to fuck up some other show. >

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Shows that they've little to no professional integrity (duh) and will go with the biggest paycheck.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Another popular theory is that they left after seeing how utterly HORRIBLE of a leader Kathleen Kennedy is.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

That would require them to have any sort of idea about what a good show runner is

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

He literally has no control over what he does. He's seen the future and if he changes anything I'm guessing the world would collapse.1

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's basically like Donnie Darko

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Outstanding.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly hoped that Bran would be the final boss, and that the Night King would have been the only one to stop him but now Bran just gonna

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Sit there, all broken and such. Shame.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I still think Bran is the big bad boss. His most dangerous enemy has been destroyed and he situated himself perfectly to be king. I am 1/

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2/he orchestrated a lot of stuff to put himself in that position. He also has a dragon that has his attention. I don't think the story 2/

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

3/ends with GoT. I believe Martin has more in mind with the series. But that's just me.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What a good story though. The best story.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

-_-

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Bran knows all the best stories. And he’ll make the wights pay for rebuilding the wall.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No warging a dragon.. no undead attacking Kings Landing.. no reason for all the plot concerning Jon. No reason for the Lord of light etc...

6 years ago | Likes 299 Dislikes 4

No reason for any prophecy or any of the precious wars. Just...nothing

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

EXACTLY!

6 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

I actually thought it was kind of like life. You can be told you are going to do great things by other people, or a group of people can 1/

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Believe in something like a god that controls their lives, but really it's just what you do that makes it. It shows human nature. But also2/

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

It was bogus fucking writing and this is not what they intended. It's not the how all the different groups saw something different in the 3/

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Red comet (i.e. Jeoffrey's name day, the dragon, the lord of light). Maybe none were right. There's no symbolism in ordinary things. Maybe4/

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Characters don't mean anything more than what they do, not what their potential could mean for them and the story

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

A huge disappointment was the lord of light lit the Dothraki swords on fire right before they charged to their death.

6 years ago | Likes 82 Dislikes 0

Would have been a better effect if we had more war based lord of light blessings earlier so the snuffing would seem even more terrifying

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That was still the highlight of the episode for me, seeing all the lights go out was pretty awesome.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

perhaps but THAT was the only point. It made no thematic sense it was just because it "looked cool"

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe it was the Lord of Light that respawned them after the battle was over?

6 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

The Lord of Plot Loopholes.

6 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Book will probably be more satisfying.

Grrm was involved for all the best seasons. Hes still a great writer, and if the book ever comes out ill read the series just to get my fin.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

He'll never write it. Though not done well, from a creative standpoint, the story is 'finished;' his writer's block will be nigh unbreakable

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Jon: Why'd you bring me back? Melisandre: Your little sister wanted you to be here when she kills the night king

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I know this is weeks later but I just read your comment and laughed for about 5 minutes.

Back to Seinfeld.. how did this manager guy liked their idea ?

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

George kinda slowed the approval process down by staring at the guys daughters cleavage

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At Denise Richards cleavage to be exact.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He didn't, really. George walked out on the meeting because he refused to compromise his artistic integrity on the show being about nothing.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They were pitching "Seinfeld." He gave it the green light

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Given how D&D responded to questions and explained their logic, this is a lot more accurate than it should be

6 years ago | Likes 1052 Dislikes 3

D&D ?

dungons & dragons

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I'm out of the loop, what's happening with Dungeons and Dragons?

6 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Took me a while too. If I remember right, the directors of GoT both have D names.

6 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Theres a lengthy rebuttal of that when you scroll way down. Show still turned to shit regardless

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well there we go.. didn't understand the books, didn't understand the characters. Fuck those two seriously. Fuck them.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they literally said a little while ago at a film festival that they actually have no idea what they're doing professionally

6 years ago | Likes 247 Dislikes 0

This was probably self deprecating. No one knows what they themselves are doing.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is there a link to a video or something?

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I just read the tweets.. they are a pair of cunts.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

So yes, but this is a total cop out. The first few seasons were fucking fantastic. They obviously know how to tell a story and 1

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

All I’m saying is that they dropped the ball far beyond not knowing what they were doing. They got lazy and frustrated

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Writing fanfiction is easier then writing OC

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The first seasons were fantastic because they were written by George R R Martin...

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He wrote one episode in each of the first four seasons J&b wrote the rest.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They could pick and choose the best parts from the books though. Once they got past the books or started going downhill.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There was so much fucking money thrown at that show they could have at least hired someone to be like “orr, maybe Bran could do something?”2

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Something...anything?”3

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

They are obviously talented at adapting a story, and they can write dialog well. Even in the bad seasons, the conversations were often good.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

GRR Martin was heavily involved up till seaspn 5 (I believe). The show got continuously worse the more D&D had to handle it on their own

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I’ll bet that’s partly why Disney let them go. That and the torches and pitchforks from fans.

6 years ago | Likes 136 Dislikes 2

so they rushed the last seasons 'cus their mind was on Star Wars and then Disney fired them? that's epic

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

*torches & pitchforks from the FORMER fans. FTFY.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They're still fanatics

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Disney let them go?

6 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

They said they quit to work on a Netflix project, but I suppose that could be them trying to save face

6 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Yeah no one in their right mind would give up making a Star Wars trilogy. They were either let go or Netflix has more money than we thought.

6 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

No, they quit. Disney even wished them well and expressed desire to work with them when schedules allow for it.
