How to Thwart a Tentacle Monster Attack!

Step 1: Realize you are being attacked.
"AHHH! There is a tentacled monster attacking me!"

Step 2: Attempt to win the tentacled monster's trust by caressing it's head.
"Yeah. That's nice, isn't it? You sweet tentacled monster, you."

Step 3: Continue to win the tentacled monster's trust by fondling its tentacles.
"That's much better, isn't it Mr. tentacled monster?"

Step 4: Prepare for the attack.
"You're just a friendly tentacled monster. Isn't that right? Yes it is."

Step 5: ATTACK!
*POKE POKE POKE POKE POKE*
"How do you like THAT! You evil tentacle monster! Take THAT! HA HAH!"

Step 6: Remember that the tentacle monster is only a stuffed toy and feel both relief and shame.
"DAMMIT!"
