Nice touch, with the balloon in back. Fuck you. +1.

When I saw that they made a new IT I thought to myself and now a new generation will fear clowns. Suffer.

Do you have Prince Albert in a can? You do? Well you better let the poor guy out then *WAHAH* *WAHAH*

Thanks to that fuckin shower scene I couldn't close my eyes in the shower for years. My eyes got used to shampoo tho, so thats nice
GadenKerensky
What happens if, once the movie is over, she looks you dead in the eyes and says, "That's all?"
TheMessiahHimselfWaluigi
I saw the balloon. I laughed
SirFormidio
I mean, considering who's directing it, I don't think it sounds very scary. I'm expecting b-level schlock. Here's hoping I'm wrong.
Bearhugger70
I'm not afraid of clowns at all and never will be but pennywise was a scary cunt. I couldn't watch the whole thing when it first aired.
ThisIsNotTheOPyouAreLookingFor
You wanna a BALLOOONNN? They float!! They alllll floooaatt!!!
OolongOogenesis
YOU'LL FLOAT TOO
KirschPunkt
IT does not become scary from fear of clowns, you become afraid of clowns because of IT.

IT was absolutely hilarious. Tim Curry's "wah-ha wah-ha" laugh always brightens up my day

Now I'm afraid of balloons!

Let's see...spiders, lepers, mummies, wolfman, flying leeches, deadlights, blood...just gave my dog-eared copy to my 18 yr old daughter.

It's not that scary though

So, your fifteen year old daughter says the movie IT doesn't sound scary because she is not afraid of clowns?

They aren't going to beat Tim Curry. I really wish they'd stop remaking and fucking his films up.

I love IT, I've never been afraid of clowns.
Actually, like most horror movies tend to do, I think IT made me like clowns more.
GrundleFondler
Fortunately, I only saw the original film last year and let me say, it has aged terribly. There were scary bits, but the end seemed like 1/2
2/2 a Power Ranger episode with its terrible spider animatronic... Let's hope that the new one isn't a letdown like the new Blair witch film
ImTechnicallyAnEngineer
THE BALLOON GOT ME FUCK YOU
Durtschi
Never saw IT. What's with the balloon?
midnightman163
Well you can say you never saw IT coming
Does this involve getting clown jizz on me? If so, I'll pass.
Well that's half the movie

The new one is just going to be cheap scares. And you'll probably have to wait another year for the second part of the story..
bullfrogjaws
I don't think so. Just in the preview I saw a lot of scenes taken directly from the book. (I've read it a few times.) There was a lot that
the original had to leave out at the time, lots of scary moments that are gonna be fantastic in a large budget version.
Plus King has already seen it and loved it, and I trust him. He's the kind of guy who would tell us if it was shit.
Ok I'll believe you, I want it to be good. I also want them to stop remaking Tim Curry movies lol.
Davedavedavedavedave
The exact point that I became afraid of clowns. IT.

I already didn't like clowns. I couldn't stand the fakery as a kid. And then came IT.
DaveTheMurderingHippo
Yea, first time I read the book I was 11 or something like that. I slept with the lights on for months.

My dad has a fear of clowns and he told me it didn't come from watching IT he got the fear from the clown in Poltergeist.
SilverHarvest
Ronald did it for me.

Clearly you've never seen Killer Clowns from Outter Space before then. Yes, hats a real movie.
Mysadventure
That and Poltergeist. I still can't watch the part with the clown doll in it and I'm 38.
The22ndDoctor
Poltergeist ruined drumsticks for me. and it was touch and go for NY strips.
And Night of the Living Dead. What was I thinking at 10 years old?

Love love love Stephen King. Hated IT. The book & the first pathetic movie. It had a great premise but soon lost its way. jmho
Punk1209
My fav book of all time is The Stand. What is your fav King novel?
Tommyknockers. That movie sucked too.
Great book. The movie was horrible.
PreciousPotato
I love the book, but I think all the movies made from his novels are crap in comparision to the books. Yes, even Shining. :P In contrast, /1
all the movies based on his short stories are great. "The Green Mile" being the notable exception.
I agree so hard on the shining. The kubrick version could have been more faithful.
*whispers* I admit, I can't stand Kubrick. At all. I always feel as if he used stories to squeeze in way too many symbolism and metaphors,/1
instead of just using a bit to enhance the story. Like "Look at me, I'm SO deep". :P
Yeah. I think the scary atmosphere of the movie but by large was not nearly as good as the book.
