Quick, somebody give me the "take my money" reaction pic!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

IG-88 disapproves.

I'm only upvoting because Cassian said i had to

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Thats awesome! I would love to have that design on a TCG playmat.

That’s amazing!

Nice job, @OP. As a SW-nut, I enjoy this thoroughly.

Mad respect, @OP. I realized I'm a compulsive Astro Droid collector, you should see my office now.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@jlist I'd love to! Send me a pic! Would love to chat about a commission or print for you!

How did you do all the shading? I paint with acrylics but am struggling to make things that don't look cartoon-like

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I typically apply both colors I'm trying to shade or blend together on the same brush, half on each edge, and blend them that way

Thank you

The only droid that matters...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Statement: HK-47 is disappointed that the pathetic meatbag did not include him. (T3-M4 also missing)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good painting though!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You did a fantastic job! You really captured the light and shadow in the metal!

Thanks!!

Composition is jarring. Would have been better as four separate pieces. BB8 looks flat. The others are fantastic. P.S. I will die alone.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Where is the revered Gonk droid?!

8 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 1

I wasn't asked to include him in this :/

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Chopper killed him.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I drew one in ANSI a while back.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Can I buy one

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A print, yes! This was a commission piece so the original painting is not available.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

how much is a commissioned star wars themed painting?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Forgot Roger, roger

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

These are not the droids you're looking for

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's pretty damn awesome. I'm moving into my first apartment and i am looking for things to hang on my wall. This would certainly do.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, I do offer prints of all my work!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll take it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I offer prints! Just this was a commission, so the original isn't available

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I gave you an upvote. The captain said I had to.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I upvoted this post. The captain said I had to....

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No Chopper? Sad beep.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I tried pushing the guy that commissioned me on this to include chop, but he wanted just these 4

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Have you tried using artist quality paints? If so why do you prefer craft acrylic?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The characters themselves are phenomenal, but im not a fan of that blue background. I feel like it takes away from the piece.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

or maybe every other should have had a different colored background

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's some awesome work!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Thank you! Worked my ass off lol

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No love for r4...

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Or IG-88

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or Roger, roger

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Poor clankers.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And in chronological order too

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

That was my intent :)

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Either K2SO should be first or he should be last.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

But prequels?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Prequels dude, and if you don't want to count the prequels then K2SO shouldn't even be up there because rogue one is, indeed, a prequel.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Always forget them, sorry. :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually c3po shows up before r2d2. He's the first character we meet

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Uhhh, no

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are right. C3po and r2 show up at the same time

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

R2 shows up well before c3po in episode 1.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm talking about episode 4 obviously

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rogue 1 came out before TFA? I thought R1 was the filler to get us through the wait between eps 7 and 8. My memory is god awful

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

I actually loved Rogue 1 the ship design was much better than the godawful Disney inventions

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Chronological as in time order. Not release order. Rogue one takes place between episodes III and IV.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

This is the correct release order, Not the chronological order of the series, Maybe the chronological release dates

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No, it's not release order. It's event order. I promise

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you want to count the prequels. But id like to see silver C3-PO than.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ahhh, now I understand

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's pretty cool, how long did it take you?

8 years ago | Likes 126 Dislikes 1

5 months on and off. 3po was the most difficult. Hate painting that droid lol. 2nd time, and the last time I will lol

8 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 1

that is really great, nice job!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How long did it take you to shade his upperlip

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is pure talent. Great work op.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's incredible

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Last time? But...I can have that one then, right? #liptremble

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a print, yes! This was a commission so it's not available :/

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ll take what I can get. Direct me towards your shop posthaste good person!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

what a shame if it were to fall into the wrong hands

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Serious dedication, well done, 3PO looks great in to my untrained eye!

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Trained eye here. Looks great

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you very much!

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Thanks for sharing something cool that you made!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What makes painting him such a pain?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think the shiny metal parts are difficult to execute because of the uneven light distribution.
