Ireland gets the left overs from the States

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The arse end of a hurricane, not even technically a hurricane by the time it got to us, pretty sustained winds but Florida wouldn't bat an eyelid

9 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

It's in the middle of the Atlantic and has zero mountains. Yeah, hurricanes are not uncommon. Ireland is wimdy in general.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(maybe not full strength hurricanes, but still)

Release the pigs. Nice fat hogs for market in a short time.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They have machines to collect them, and they can be made into cider.

9 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

how do you make a machine into cider?

9 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Does it blend? The answer is always yes.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A very robust blender and an industrial press. It tastes absolutely terrible.

9 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Unless, of course, you're Michel Lotito.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't knock it til you tried it.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The bad news is this will attract lots of bugs and animals... The good news is the ground will be well fertilized for next year.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm my garden a fallen apple will have a slug on it in minutes.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Slugs killed my strawberry plant of several years. Fuck slugs!

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You could try planting garlic between the strawberry plants. That is supposed to work well, but I haven't tried it myself yet.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'll try that next time then. It was a good plant while it lasted. It came back every year.
