This is an ooold favorite of mine. Good to see it again. Almost all rats are obsessed with cooked pasta.

Anyone else have this remind them of the Mouse Hunt movie where the mouse makes string cheese in the string factory.

Rats are such underrated pets. Hate that they only live a few years.

Remy?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

His name was Baby, and he belonged to a woman in the Netherlands named Maaike. He was super chill (all her rats have been amazingly loving)

Spaghetticat! To catch the spaghettirat!

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's the most adorable thing I've seen all fucking year.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The only thing my rat would bite was my fingers. I spent his entire life trying to build trust. Never got it. Still loved the little shit.

What did you try

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

spend hours next to the cage reading so he would be used to my voice, hand feeding treats, time out of the cage with me in the room. . .

Pastatouille...

Are most pet rats friendly and cuddly?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They should be. Their temperament is genetic so it's important to find a good breeder. Males tend to be more cuddly while girls are playful

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isnt it bad for them? Shouldnt they rat fruits and veg not processed crap like pastas

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Cooked pasta is a healthy treat for them. Just no sauce or seasoning

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ahh ok
