Hmm, I don't think I agree with that. Having empathy and understanding how things affect what other people feel doesn't mean you have to be emotional yourself, IMO. I also don't think "emotional" means "being able to feel emotions" though, but rather having excessive emotions, so maybe we're arguing different points.
