I printed one of these guys! He sits on my desk in the little stand until my SO comes in and says he's lonely so she takes him to play.

Dyess? Ex B-1 crew chief here. I still hate the B-1 with a passion

I am an engineer that used to work on B-1s. I still love them, but fully understand your frustration.

Soooo... Someone should sell them... Not all nerds can afford 3D printers... Will you sell them? I'm asking for a friend...

Check out shapeways. Its a 3D printing online store.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would gladly purchase one of these

This website lets you submit 3D models and they'll print them and ship them to you: https://www.shapeways.com

Have you been to the public library? Check there as a ton are setting them up. At least in the midwest.

The one at my library has a one month waiting list and there's no guarantee that someone won't just walk in and take it after its finished

Just pray it's not a Makerbot and it might actually still be working!

You can buy a 3d printer for under 200 bucks, working, not a kit.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But... How good does a $200 machine print...

Look for reviews of the monoprice select mini on YouTube and decide for yourself whether it's good enough.
