This little girl is 7 year old Audrey Nethery, from Kentucky. First of all, she is awesome and looks happier in a few minutes than most of us. That being said, she also has a rare kind of bone marrow disease called Diamond Blackfan Anemia. There is about 25-35 new cases each year in the USA and Canada and it basically means she cannot produce enough red blood cells. She went viral on the internet in 2015 and was able to raise $10,000 for the Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation. Pretty cool, right?!

I see a lot of good comments down there, funny ones but not mean. I also see a lot of people being a douche (which is par for the course here on the web) but there's a difference in making a joke and just being mean. I think this kid is awesome. The gif isn't funny because she is sick.... it's awesome because even though she has a serious illness and a hard life, she can still be happy. Humanity can learn a lot from these people. Be good to each other!
