I think my dad was living out his dreams when he bought me one in high-school. It was not fun driving it in a school uniform. Left home with with wet hair. Arrived to school with an Afro. Also forget about in Jeep conversations.
People who haven't owned one just don't understand how smoothly they transition from needing one repair, into needing another. Seamless. Often even overlapping.
I drove a 2001 TJ for 18 years as my daily driver. In those 18 years, I replaced damn near every single part of the vehicle short of the body itself and the frame. Windows, roof, wheels, most of the entire undercarriage, shocks, exhaust system, and at one point the entire engine. Shit was like the Ship of Theseus by the end. I got really good at doing DIY auto work. And you know what? I still love the stupid thing. I rarely drive it these days, but I can't bring myself to sell it either.
I had an 01 TJ, too! Same experience. Once I saw it had both SAE and metric fasteners in the same assembly (i think the trans, it’s been a while), I decided to buy a motorcycle to commute on instead.

You know I’ve had my share, when my woman left home for a brown eyed man, well I still don’t seem to care.

looks like it could be a soft top with the clamps above the sun visors. so this seems like a problem she didn't need to have

Getting sick from being wet: it's an imaginary thing.

Unless it’s the lungs getting wet. Agreed. You’d have to get viral, bacterial or fungal exposure

Didn't she have different shirts on in the original? Did someone alter this so it appears to be the same?
SuperFlamingTominoHead
Looks very shoddy, like they did it in paint. I don't know why anyone would bother.
Hotjoe1991
Its called fur not a shirt.
Giordino
Looks like the same shirt, but on the first picture she has her seatbelt on.
laserfrog
Seat belt on in both mate.
huffnpuff72
Doggo doesn't appear to have harness (or same harness) in second photo too.
Giordino
I stand corrected.
TinyLiehon
Photoshop on second one fudges the belt quite a bit

The reason they hold their value so well is cuz you're constantly rotating brand new parts
