This culture war bullshit the Republicans are perpetrating is exhausting.

This is fucking nonsense.

Bullshit. They are just so full of hate and nonsense.

We seriously have more important shit to deal with. This shit is so dumb. To me, it’s like if we all woke up and said, “Anyone who likes the movie Lion King is the enemy.” K why? Because they’re disgusting duh? K but I still don’t get it. Well don’t you see how disgusting they are? For liking the lion king?

I just don’t get it. I hate humans.

Riley Gaines needs to be publicly tormented for becoming the face of this movement. Bitch didn't even podium; tied for FUCKING 5TH PLACE ! ! ! That's one person who really needs to get Kerrigan'd.

Fleming should be suing because she was made to share changing spaces and bedrooms with bigoted assholes.

1 day ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I can't remember one instance where there was an article about this which included a quote from an actual female player on the team. If people want to claim women athletes are being harmed, why can't they find one to talk publicly about that harm? One way or another I want to hear from the women, not the politicians. My guess is, it would not go great for the trans-haters

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes! Proud to be a Spartan.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Besides everything else, saying the athletes who forfeited were "forced to forfeit matches to protect themselves" is insane. No one made them do that. "protect themselves"? I'm so fucking sick of this. And even if you're a bigoted asshat transphobe (don't be that, by the way) is this REALLY what you want to spend time and energy on? Are there not oh, maybe about 15,000 more important things happening?

1 day ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 2

I'm also willing to bet that very few, if any, of the players themselves gave a shit and they'd have been just as happy spiking balls at/blocking shots from that player as they would anyone else. Entirely likely that it was just the coaches and/or school admin making the call to forfeit, and they're just trying to use the girls who were 'forced' by their own schools to forfeit as victim-bait.

1 day ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

we need to stop caring so much about the genitalia of people who play sports…I don’t give a flying fuck about what genitals a person has when they are knocking a ball around when we are lobbing bombs at children

remember 2 yrs ago when GOP was all "state rights. government overreach!" ? yeah..that didnt last long did it

1 day ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

They still have the attitude of no state overreach, but only where it benefits their views. It isn't hypocrisy it's very consistent. The ideology they have is "I can do whatever I want and you also have to do whatever I want. No rules ever work against me, and the rules do work against you."

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Might as well call their bluff and fill the team with trans men

1 day ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Make sure they aren't just regular transmen, make sure they are full-on bodybuilders who are on the juice. And every time one gets done for being a drug cheat, replace him with a ciswoman who is also a bodybuilder on the juice. Just blind the opposition with varieties of drug cheating. Fuck the volleyball, it only has like three moves anyway.

1 day ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

America lost the plot completely

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Maybe they should combine both men's and women's teams and make it a co-ed sport. There are plenty of beach volleyball mixed teams.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Maybe they should stop doing a bunch of scaremongering and dehumanizing of trans people.

The Right wing outrage machine. There to whip their base into a frenzy of stochastic terrorism. Fascist pigs.

1 day ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 2

this seems like a good use of government resources all around...how many lawyers and state representatives and team representatives all for one athlete...

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And in some states, Zero athletes. Laws, hearings, reviews, all sorts of time and money wasted. For people that aren't even competing.

22 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is the most important thing happening in the US right now, way more important than the economy, trade wars, actual wars, the stock market and the ongoing government shutdown. Yup, way more important.

1 day ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Yeah... there's like a total of 40 trans athletes in the whole country.

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Republicans can't convince voters to vote for their policies. They have to invent boogeymen for you to vote against.

iirc there are under 10 trans athletes in the entirety of the ncaa

1 day ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 3

My estimation was like 40 trans athletes nation wide.

If you have a reference with a better number I'd be happy for it.

1 day ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

no, i pulled that from my (rather unreliable) memory, but it was just the ncaa, idk if there are more outside college athletics

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

If trans women have such an unfair advantage - where are all the trans champions? I was unsure about the whole thing until that point was made to me.

1 day ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

That is from congressional testimony of the president of the NCAA in 2024. "Out of over 500,000 student-athletes attending NCAA schools, fewer than 10 are transgender, NCAA President Charlie Baker said during a congressional hearing in December."

So, for my friend. Wins then loses W 21- L 9? They've never really understood which goes first.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wins first, then losses, then ties

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don’t know what this means…I mean my friend doesn’t. Could someone with more sports knowledge than me ( I mean my friend) give further explanation please?

1 day ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

In college sports you have a conference, kind of like a league in a way, and then you have overall record. I posted was their total wins, winning percentage, and overall wins for the three seasons that they're being sued about.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thank you very much

1 hour ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only question here is: "Is it fair?"

If the answer is "No", then just go ahead and ban it. And trans women definitely have an advantage. Bigger skeletons. Taller. Entirely different background on muscle growth, which by the way, persists all across life. It's like if a woman was on steroids all her life and then went off just to do sports.

I'm very tolerant, but it's just not fair.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 11

(And if the trans women want to compete among men, let them. In fact, let all women.)

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 8

They only have an advantage for about a year until the hormone treatment levels the playing field. You did not do the research. Might want to get on that?

22 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Your statement is your subjective opinion that is based on something other than facts and research. Actual research by people who know what they are doing says that a trans woman on HRT >1 year has no muscular or physical gender based advantages. But hey, keep spreading lies.

1 day ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

https://blog.nasm.org/muscle-memory

No, muscles do regain strength faster if they were large before. It's a fact.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Cool, still doesn't do what you claim here's an actual study and not a blog post: https://academic.oup.com/jcem/article/109/2/e455/7223439

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The "blog" isn't the source you fucking ignoramus. READ! Literally in the link: "In a research review by Snijders et. al. (2020), "

Not to mention research doesn't "compete" like you imply. It's not "good" research or "bad" research. It's just research. The fact that you can't distinguish it means you're suffering from confirmation bias, which is what MAGA does, but with everything. Just saying, as an indication of how bad you actually are at this.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

2: Ok, I read the abstract at least. I honestly don't know of the paper that published it, which actually can affect the quality of the research. With that said, a quote from the abstract:

"While absolute lean mass remains higher in trans women"

But they try to argue that "it doesn't matter", and then they make up their own rules like "they couldn't make more sit-ups" which could technically be a cherry-picked metric to reach a pre-conceived conclusion.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Now where's your supposed source that contradicts mine?

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Already posted an actual source and not a blog post champ. Calm the undeserved sense of smug superiority you haven't earned it.

1 day ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Anyway, I think we've reached the end of this discussion. You obviously won't accept any sources as "true" if you don't want to, because you literally don't know what sources are.

So just stop replying.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

"Just stope replying" Iol because I proved your idiotic bigotry was just that and you want to pretend you are still right? Oh no the science disagrees with me I guess I'll just double down and look like a bigot - you

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

But I am superior to you. I don't accuse others for posting "blog sources" when they don't, and I don't swear and insult needlessly like a bitch. :)

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Lmao it's literally in the title of the URL dumbass. But sure, if you want to continue to indulge your delusions I've done my job long enough to know there's not point in reasoning with delusional behavior. Better to block and move on. Do better, a low bar I know, but try

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fuck these ignorant fools.

Look, the Paralympics was started because physically-disadvantaged athletes wanted a level playing ground to compete on.

Could we not also do Translympics? Sporting events that celebrate the effort and achievements of those born with a hardware/software disconnect, and give them a stress-free, sexism-free place to pursue their chosen field of excellence.

1 day ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 28

"Separate but equal!"

1 day ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

I'm with you, at least on trying to find a solution. And the only question here is: "Is it fair?"

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 14

you're a shithead loser who wants to exclude a minority for shit you just now made up. Go ahead, link me the scholarly article you quoted that from. Its a well reasoned argument, right? Its not something you just cluged together from the random bigot articles you've read, right?

1 day ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

"you're a shithead loser"

Did literally not read any further. If I'm being level-headed and presenting arguments, and you're acting like this, then you're on the wrong side my guy.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 11

23 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

the right side has nothing to do with who is more upset. historically the truth is almost always opposite what you've asserted - that the people dealing with bigotry are pissed about it. Which I am. Because I'm a girl, and you're a shithead loser. Congratz on your gender bitch.

1 day ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

I accidentally read this reply. And your "end the discussion" argument is: Blah blah blah you're bad I'm right go fuck yourself....?

Listen lady, I'm a LGBT+ ally, but there are limits to that if you apply logic. And no, you can't bunch up everyone who criticizes anything into "MAGA bigoted assholes". In fact, if we're labeling people as bigots, you're the biggest one here. You're assuming a buuuunch of stuff about me and jumping to conclusions.

But now, fuck off and believe you won or whatevs

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

LMAO imagine saying all that and then fucking blocking me so I cant respond. "believe you're the winner if you want" couldnt be projecting harder. What an absolute lying pissbaby.

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

also not to toot my own horn, but I did win. You're lying ass isnt uncontested anymore, which was my whole goal. Eat shit bigot loser, I dont care what your affiliation is when you're out here actively spreading bigoted harm.

1 day ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

So do some CIS women. If the issue is an advantage, ban the advantage and not the people. Because we've been examining the issue a long time and if there was this huge advantage we'd see it pan out in numbers, but we don't. The data says there is very little advantage after a few years of HRT. Training and effort do a lot more in competitive sports than some inherent bio-essentialist bullshit.

23 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I disagree. The data is basically just one research paper so far, and it's been criticized for, unfortunately, trying to fit the answer they wanted into the data. It's basically reverse science.

23 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

And again, the issue is that CIS women have a HUGE variation in body type, shape, weight, height, etc. and they all compete in various sports. Training and dedication factor FAR greater than many of these differences. If you don't go after CIS women with huge differences greater than those between CIS and Trans people you show you only care about banning the person, not any unfairness.

Right off the bat that is a lie. Because I was seeing a META-Analays, which is a summary of multiple studies. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41633803/
https://g">3803/">https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41633803/
https://guides.library.utoronto.ca/systematicreviews/metaanalysis So try again.

23 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Not the one I referred to. I'd link it and argue the point I have, Buuuuut I kinda don't give a rats ass about you people. You don't know how to argue. You don't know how to question. I'll just leave you with this screenshot of another one of my opinions instead, because it paints people like you in a very negative, trolly, light.

22 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

No. There's like 40 trans athletes in the entire country.

This woman didn't win or dominate or anything, they're just mad because they're mad.

The real science really does say that after a trans woman is on hrt for a year they have no gender advantage left.

I can tell you first hand once that hrt starts the muscle just melts off.

1 day ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 1

OK, I accept it was not a well-thought-out suggestion, and I deeply and genuinely apologise for wording it all so very badly. I am not the enemy, but an ally with word-salad-syndrome.

A separate 'transolympics' would imply that the hormone therapy somehow makes trans people - and let's be real, this is ONLY about trans women - physically superior to cisgendered people, which is utter nonsense. Not only would no nation be able to get enough highly skilled trans athletes together for such an event, it would only encourage the bigoted position of trans people somehow being different in any way other than how hard it is to find shirts that fit just right.

1 day ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

the only dominant trans athlete i ever heard of was female to male, a swimmer who whupped his assigned male opponents, forgot his name.

1 day ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

That F2M boxer Patricio Manuel did pretty good, too bad transphobes just see that as "proof" of their bullshit still.

1 day ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

real science supports both. after 1 - 3 years of HRT some trans-women are still physically stronger than cis-women and some are not
